Apparently her own name isn't that only thing about which E! Online gossip columnist Kristen (who formerly went by the pen name Wanda) is indecisive.

After having reported only days after the finale of ABC's Bob Guiney-led The Bachelor edition that series bachelorette Meredith Phillips was starring in the network's upcoming new The Bachelorette series -- a report that came on the heels of her report only two days before the Bachelor 4 finale that the woman not selected by Guiney would star in the series -- Kristen is once again backpedaling from her earlier report. According to her latest report, Kristen is now stating that the star of the next The Bachelorette series may still be Meredith Phillips... or it might be Tina Panas, who appeared as a bachelorette during the third Bachelor series that featured Andrew Firestone.

Panas, who is more commonly known to fans by her series-created nickname of "Tina Fabulous," is the 22-year-old Oconomowoc, Wisconsin college student who finished third in the Spring 2003 Bachelor series in which millionaire bachelor Andrew Firestone selected Ohio native Jen Schefft. Rumors of Panas' casting as ABC's next Bachelorette began soon after the series ended, with Panas telling the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel at the time that "I haven't had any talks with ABC about that just yet." "If the opportunity presents itself, I would consider it."

According to news reports, Panas was making Milwaukee-area public appearances as late as October 18, which given the suspected late-October/early-November start of production of The Bachelorette 2, would seem to make her casting on the program less likely, however we'll continue to report new information as we receive it.
