Married at First Sight star Morgan Bell has claimed there's much more to the story of what led to her divorce from Binh Trinh than what viewers got to see on the show.

Morgan, a 27-year-old registered nurse, and Binh, a 29-year-old engineer, married each other as strangers on Married at First Sight's fifteenth season, but they agreed to get a divorce less than two weeks before Decision Day.

Not only did Binh question the legitimacy of Morgan's nursing career and offend his wife during their honeymoon, but he also talked to co-star Justin Hall about his marriage problems when Morgan had allegedly begged him multiple times to keep their issues and conversations private.
Morgan lost trust in her relationship, and so a brief separation between the spouses ultimately ended in divorce.

"You know, it's a little frustrating because so much more happened, of course, behind the scenes that maybe the viewers didn't get to see," Morgan told Entertainment Tonight of alleged drama that didn't air.
"There's a much more dynamic relationship between Binh and I that no one really got to see. So, of course, I wish people could've seen it. But with the show, they had to break it down into only a couple of hours a week so there was hours of filming that no one got to see."
Morgan has received some backlash for being harsh and hostile to Binh as well as unforgiving.
Many Married at First Sight fans believe Morgan should've given Binh another chance because he apparently just needed someone to confide in and receive support from during an emotional and extreme marriage experiment.
Morgan acknowledged how she's been perceived as a Married at First Sight villain, especially when she threw Binh's bouquet of roses on the ground on their one-month anniversary.

Morgan also told Binh at one point that she wanted to stay with him just so he could see her face every day and remember his mistakes, which some viewers considered abuse or bullying.
"I truly believed at that time that Binh didn't really feel accountable. I didn't truly think he believed what he did was wrong. He was just kind of sitting there saying, 'I'm sorry,' just to say sorry to be done with it," Morgan complained.
"I was hurt and I was just trying to express that and show him I'm hurt... We just both needed to walk away."

In light of the fact Morgan was criticized for her rage and exaggerating the situation, she claimed, "[Viewers] didn't see that so much more happened between Binh and I leading up to that point."

"People only saw certain things that we kind of argued about, but there was a lot more that happened behind the scenes. People only saw, you know, me give him the first chance and then this last chance -- when in reality, we were on chance like three, four, five."
She reiterated, "A lot more went down between Binh and I, and at that point, when I heard Binh was saying things behind my back, I was like, 'Okay, I'm done at this point.'"
Morgan said those multiple chances she had given Binh had to do with "more personal things" in their marriage.
"Things that he came to me about and actions that he did," Morgan hinted. "Unfortunately, things that he told me didn't sit well with me, so there was just so much more leading up to the divorce."
She elaborated, "I wish I can say more on that but I don't think I can. I just wish that he had gone to someone who knew him much better instead of someone who knew him for only a couple of months."

Although Binh was talking to someone who understood his position given they had both married strangers on a reality TV show, Morgan pointed out, "Unfortunately, Justin wasn't the best influence when it came to helping him make those decisions."
"When he went to Justin the first time," she recalled, "nothing that he told Justin stayed with Justin, and it got out, which is a big reason why I asked him, 'Just don't go to other cast members. Go to someone else.'"
Morgan said she "really did try to make it work" with Binh on the show and she definitely didn't give up on him easily because, again, "more did happen behind the scenes that no one got to see."

For instance, Morgan said she and Binh had many conversations about how her approach could be softer in order to give him a safer space to open up to her and come to her -- rather than other people -- with his concerns.
"I was upset because I was like, 'Binh, you've been talking to me... about things that make you upset and about things I could be doing better, and how I can show up for you better,'" Morgan said.
After putting in some work, Morgan apparently thought she had provided that safe space for Binh, which is why her estranged husband's last couple of conversations with Justin felt like such a betrayal and shocked her.
Morgan, however, said she understands producers couldn't unpack more of her storyline on the season, which currently airs on Wednesday nights at 8PM ET/PT on Lifetime.
"I understand. I get it. They're trying to highlight certain things so it's understandable," Morgan said.
Morgan -- who revealed that she stopped watching Married at First Sight after her honeymoon drama with Binh went down -- said the demise of her relationship was "really frustrating" because she didn't think she had "asked for much" out of her husband.
"It completely caught me offguard that [unflattering] things were being said about me by Binh," Morgan noted.

Looking back on the whole process, Morgan said she "absolutely" thinks it was the right decision to end the marriage early.
"Binh and I were never meant to be in that marriage, especially at that point. We both had a lot of working on ourselves that we needed to do, and we just needed to take a step back and be separated so we could figure that out on our own."
Morgan said she and Binh did everything they could with the experts and talking things through.
"But at the end of the day, we just needed to take a step back and move on," Morgan said.
"Unfortunately I do think the experts mismarked, just a little bit, [with our pairing]. I don't think Binh is what I asked for, and I don't believe that I was what Binh asked for... Marriage just wasn't right for us -- at all."
Morgan just hopes people will give her some grace going forward.
"I'm trying to move forward and not have any regrets. I understand that my actions maybe weren't the best at the time and I was very emotion-led, when I should've been more logical. I completely understand that," Morgan confessed.
"However, I just want to remind the viewers kindness is key... A lot of people can be really, really mean online. But you guys need to understand that more happens behind the scenes and there's more you don't see. You're only seeing five percent of everything that's filmed, and there's more than happened when it's not filming."
She concluded, "There are certain things you cannot take back, and honestly, there are some of us that are really struggling right now with what's being said online... Enjoy the show, but be kind."
