Married at First Sight star Justin has admitted all of his friends thought the fact Alexis had been proposed marriage to three times in the past was "a red flag."

Married at First Sight experts Dr. Pepper Schwartz and Pastor Calvin Roberson matched Alexis, a 29-year-old logistics specialist, and Justin, a 33-year-old digital marketing specialist, for matrimony on Season 15 of the Lifetime reality series that was filmed in San Diego, CA.

Justin appeared on the July 20 episode of Married at First Sight: Afterparty and watched back a Season 15 clip of Alexis' first conversation with his groomsmen at their wedding reception.

"So I want to know, are you 'ride or die' for our best friend, Justin?" a groomsman asks the bride.

"'Die' is a bit much but I really enjoy him," Alexis replies. "I am committed to this process, like, this is my man. I have no reservations. I'm in it as long as he's in it."

Justin said it was "interesting" watching Alexis interact with his friends.

"It doesn't seem like my friends are her cup of tea," Justin admitted. "Because, I mean, my friends are a little awkward. I get that. But it works for us."

Afterparty host Keshia Knight Pulliam asked Justin what his friends told him about Alexis that night.

"You want the truth?... Okay, okay. My brother, he came [up to me] and was like, 'Yo, I'm glad you did this process, she put me at ease.' So my family was solid."

But Justin revealed of his friends, "My friends were skeptical."

"My friends were all on the same page regarding the proposal," he continued. "She's been proposed to three different times, and so they saw that as a red flag."

When asked how he handled the conflicting opinions, Justin confessed, "I honestly didn't take it well the first time I heard it. I didn't take it well."

But Justin apparently came around to their way of thinking when hearing them out.

"When they started breaking down the perspective -- 'You're a stranger she's marrying and she's been proposed to three other times, how do you know this is it right here?' So they were more concerned because they understand that I'm all in."

Keshia pointed out how Justin's pals just wanted the reassurance that Alexis was "all in" as well, and Justin agreed.

Fellow Married at First Sight Season 15 stars Miguel and Krysten also appeared on the Afterparty special and shared what their family and friends thought about Lindy and Mitch, respectively.

"They love her immediately," Miguel revealed of his wife. "They see her and they were like, 'Oh my God, she's gorgeous and she's your type. She's funny and charismatic.'"

Miguel admitted, "I think I actually was kind of the one like pumping the brakes on their expectations."

And Krysten suggested her loved ones probably would've reacted the same way to any man standing at the top of the altar.

"I think they knew how much I wanted this. There could've been the Kool-Aid man at the altar and they'd be like, 'Let's go!'" Krysten joked.

"But again, we've all just met. It's been one day, and I think everybody is feeling very optimistic and positive about it."

When Alexis walked down the aisle and saw Justin, she told the cameras, "Physically, he's not awful, but he's not my type by looking at him."

However, the pair continued to have flirtatious and fun banter, which made Alexis feel more comfortable around her groom, whom she had seen on a dating app -- and rejected due to a superficial issue, according to Alexis -- prior to agreeing to marry a stranger.

As the night progressed, Alexis loved her conversations with Justin, and they both said the marriage had been well "worth the wait" and seemed to be the right decision. Their chemistry also grew as they spent more time together.

During their wedding reception, Alexis was pretty giddy.

"When I was walking down the aisle, it wasn't so clear. It was not obvious that this was going to be the man of my dreams," Alexis told the cameras, "but after getting to know him, the superficialness of me walking down the aisle and not being immediately attracted to him seems silly."

And Justin said Alexis was 100 percent his type and he "couldn't have asked for a better wife."

Justin said he was going to do everything possible to keep Alexis and make her happy. He shared how he wanted a mental connection before having sex but it was going to be hard for him to remain celibate after watching his wife take her wedding dress off in their hotel room.

Alexis didn't plan on pressuring Justin their first night together in a hotel room, but she admitted she wasn't against things getting steamy and something potentially going down in the middle of the night.

The couple then got under the covers and began sensually kissing each other, and Justin joked, "We're married -- we're in this!"

Alexis playfully told her husband, "Sir, keep your celibate hands to yourself."

And Justin replied with a smile, "Unless you tell me not to."

Married at First Sight currently airs on Wednesday nights at 8PM ET/PT on Lifetime and also stars Stacia and Nate and Morgan and Binh in addition to Justin and Alexis, Miguel and Lindy, and Krysten and Mitch.
