The four new Married at First Sight couples are AJ Vollmoeller, 37, and Stephanie Sersen, 35; Will Guess, 37, and Jasmine McGriff, 29; Luke Cuccurullo, 30, and Kate Sisk, 27; and Keith Dewar, 29, and Kristine Killingsworth, 28.

The couples were matched by Married at First Sight experts Dr. Jessica Griffin, Dr. Pepper Schwartz, and Pastor Calvin Roberson based on compatibility, goals, hobbies, religion, views of marriage and gender roles, and much more.

After getting married and saying, "I do," each pair enjoyed a wedding reception followed by the wedding night.

Later this season, each couple will embark on a honeymoon, move in together, and then navigate the joys and struggles of daily life together for what is typically an eight-week experiment.

The Married at First Sight broadcast began with the eight individuals who has signed up for this process introducing themselves to home viewers.

Kristine admitted she didn't want to be matched with a man who's shorter than her and she's nicknamed "the queen."

Her future spouse, Keith, said he's a homebody who's extremely close with his grandmother. Keith hoped his wife could kick, but he also wanted someone who would take him out of his comfort zone.

Kate considers herself a hopeless romantic and her last relationship didn't work out because her partner was Jewish and his family wanted him to marry a Jewish woman. Although Kate's parents were divorced, she had faith true love is real and can last.

And Kate's future husband, Luke, said he works a lot and is really busy so he'd just love to skip the dating stage and get married so he can settle down.

Jasmine split up from a boyfriend of four years because he didn't want children, and so she hoped her husband would be open to having kids as soon as possible.

As for Will, he grew up in a single-parent household and wanted the exact opposite. Will called himself a "cautious" introvert, hoping his partner could break down some of his walls and barriers.

And finally, Stephanie is very successful but wanted someone to share her life with. Stephanie is an adventurous world traveler, and AJ insisted he was sick of eating dinner alone. AJ owns his own company and said working from home hindered his ability to meet that special someone.

"I want everything that's in the romance movies," AJ told the cameras.

When the eight individuals shared their big marriage news with friends and family a week-and-a-half before the wedding, everyone seemed very supportive, except for Luke's mother Elaine, who called the show "a mockery of marriage."

Jasmine's father was also unsure about whether he wanted to walk her down the aisle. If she didn't have his support, she wasn't certain she could go through with the wedding at all since she's "a daddy's girl."

Jasmine, however, desperately wanted to get married in order to start a family as soon as possible. She hoped her future husband wanted to welcome children soon.

In the final days before the weddings, the ladies went shopping for their bridal gowns while the men picked out their tuxedos. Everyone also had to plan their bachelor and bachelorette parties.

"I don't want to get married more than once, so I'm really banking on this working out," Luke said.

"I will say she does crazy things, but this might be the craziest," Kristine's mother noted.

Kate noted she needed to process how her entire life was about to change.

The girls then got their nails done on the day of their bachelorette parties, and Stephanie showed off an engagement ring she had bought for herself.

Kristine saw Kate as being very sweet, quiet and shy.

Meanwhile, the guys met each other at bar. Will thought Keith seemed "low key" and "introverted" while AJ seemed like "the life of the party." Will got a "Bradley Cooper, Hangover vibe" from AJ and figured he'd be a lot of fun in a relationship.

Ironically, the women talked about potentially having sex on their wedding nights, while the men discussed whether or not they should even kiss their wives on the lips at the altar.

Kristine made it known she was not going to have sex with her husband after getting married -- no matter how well things were going.

The Married at First Sight women enjoyed a joint bachelorette party, as the MAFS men partied together as well. Both parties included strippers, and it seemed like everyone had a great time.

Luke admitted AJ was "so over the top" and he wasn't a big fan. Luke didn't have nice things to say about his co-star, so he decided to not say anything at all.

It then became time for everyone's wedding day. Kate cried because her father wouldn't be at the wedding since they hadn't been in communication much after her parents' divorce.

Meanwhile, Keith hoped for a good simple woman who can cook and doesn't have fake nails. In turn, Kristine wanted a tall, handsome guy.

Stephanie's parents had been married for 38 years and she hoped to achieve the same kind of successful relationship. She was looking for that forever type of love.

Just as Jasmine worried her parents weren't going to show, they both attended the wedding, and she was so happy to have their support. Jasmine needed her family since she called the process "an emotional roller coaster."

Naturally, all of the individuals were nervous and felt like they were in a dream. They couldn't wait to see their partners for the first time and get to know them.

"This could be the biggest mistake or the biggest reward. I just don't know what's going to happen," Kristine told the cameras.

Stephanie unfortunately had a dress malfunction, so it ruined her good mood.

Will and Jasmine's wedding was up first, and Jasmine briefly considered running away. She prayed for an initial attraction as Will stood at the altar in sweltering heat.

When Will first saw Jasmine, she thought he looked beautiful -- and she thought he was "tall, dark and handsome." Jasmine also didn't recognize Will from any dating websites, which she said was a good thing.

The couple exchanged vows and a kiss at the end of the ceremony. Jasmine called it "a surreal moment" and said she was definitely attracted to her husband at first sight. Will could tell she had a great personality.

While Jasmine and Will go to know each other -- including the fact they both graduated from Lincoln University -- her father told the crowd he was going to conduct a background check on Will with the help of his police friend.

Stephanie and AJ's wedding was up next. AJ said he couldn't take his eyes off his wife when she walked down the aisle and he thought he was "drop dead gorgeous." Stephanie thought AJ was nice and handsome.

The couple sealed their vows with a nice kiss at the altar, and AJ felt passion and emotion behind it. He said the kiss "felt right" with her, even though she was a stranger.

Stephanie appreciated AJ's enthusiasm, and he admitted he's a goofy guy who cracks a lot of jokes.

The pair seemed to bond over the fact they don't consider drinking a glass of wine and eating cheese to be a fun night out, and Stephanie acknowledged she had never dated someone with such a big personality before. Stephanie, however, seemed a little wary about AJ's loud and boisterous nature.

Once Jasmine's father, George, found out Will attended Lincoln University, George felt more relaxed since he was such a huge fan of the school and had graduated from there himself. George loved having something in common with Will other than his daughter.

Kate and Luke's wedding was next, and Kate hoped that the love she was searching for was waiting for her.

"He may be a stranger, but we are in this together. I took a risk for him, but he took a risk for me. So I am ready, let's go!" Kate told the cameras.

The episode concluded with Kate's bridesmaids commenting how Luke appeared to "totally" be Kate's physical type. Luke and Kate's mothers also quickly bonded.

Kate then began walking down the aisle, and Luke -- who owns a speed-dating business -- appeared shocked and somewhat concerned or displeased.

"I know her," Luke told his groomsmen. "I've met this girl before."

Next week's episode will feature what unfolded at Luke and Kate's wedding as well as the union of Keith and Kristine.
