Married at First Sight featured Mitch admitting he wasn't attracted to Krysten right off the bat, Alexis telling Justin she'd seen him on a dating app but wasn't interested, Stacia Karcher concerned about boundaries with her "perfect" husband Nate Barnes' female friends, and Lindy Elloway's religious brother grilling Miguel Santiago during the Season 15 episode that aired Wednesday night on Lifetime.

The five brides from San Diego who were selected to wed on Season 15 of Married at First Sight were Lindy, a 29-year-old doctor of physical therapy; Krysten, a 32-year-old sales representative; Alexis, a 29-year-old logistics specialist; Stacia, a 37-year-old accountant; and Morgan, a 27-year-old registered nurse.

The five grooms starring on the new MAFS edition are Miguel, a 35-year-old associate medical director; Mitch, a 41-year-old environmental policy advocate; Justin, a 33-year-old digital marketing specialist; Nate, a 34-year-old day trader; and Binh, a 29-year-old engineer.

The show will feature strangers meeting at the wedding altar and then spending the next eight weeks embarking on a honeymoon, moving in together, and navigating the joys and struggles of daily life together.

And at the end of the experiment, Married at First Sight's five Season 15 couples will reach "Decision Day" and have to decide whether to remain married or decide to end their marriages and divorce.

The Married at First Sight broadcast began with Krysten asking her father to walk her down the aisle to meet a total stranger on the other end.

Krysten acknowledged there was a lot of risk involved and a lot of bad could happen but his blessing was really important to her. Her father said Krysten had come a long way and been through a lot, and so he asked her to take it slow.

"I think you'll be happy. I say go for it," Krysten's dad noted.

Krysten had done some wild things before, such as cliff jumping and white-water rafting over dangerous rapids, but she said marrying a stranger was going to take the cake.

Krysten then opened her wedding gift, and there was an engagement ring inside as well as a plant symbolizing their relationship that would blossom and flower. Krysten recalled paying off her first engagement ring because her ex had refused to pay their joint credit card, and so she was thrilled and stunned by the gesture.

Meanwhile, Mitch was throwing a little temper tantrum about how his beard was too short and no one could put together his bow tie.

Mitch was frustrated and said everyone was "getting to see [his] b-tchy side" on the day of his wedding. Mitch always envisioned a low-key wedding since there was so much pressure on a marriage already.

Mitch had some alarming, vivid dreams, and so he realized there were a lot of emotions and unanswered questions inside of him. He worried he wasn't going to fall in love with his bride or that she wouldn't even like him.

When Mitch walked to the top of the aisle, he asked Krysten's friends, "Does she like bald guys?!" Krysten's whole side of wedding guests cheered and clapped with enthusiasm.

Krysten's attractive and voluptuous mother then walked down the aisle in a sexy hot pink dress, preparing to take her seat.

"That's not my wife. Is that my wife?" Mitch asked the officiant.

When Mitch learned it was actually the mother of the bride, he cracked up laughing, and the officiant joked, "That speaks well for you."

When Krysten and Mitch finally met, Krysten waved at Mitch's mother and told Mitch that he looked incredible.

Mitch's family and friends wanted Krysten to know that he's the whole package -- adventurous and active via surfing, bike riding and going to the beach five days a week. She was told Mitch is a great uncle and a very passionate person, especially when it comes to saving and preserving the planet.

"I recycle!" Krysten insisted.

Krysten's loved ones shared with Mitch how Krysten stopped by the beach five days a week with her dog. They said she's a strong woman, who may put up some walls, but she's an extremely gentle and compassionate person. Mitch was told she's loyal, steadfast, audacious, adventurous and spontaneous.

In their self-written vows, Krysten vowed to show Mitch all of the parts of her, including the boujie side, and she would try to love his hobbies and develop a deep and real love that would overcome prior heartbreak. She said she would defend him, support him, and have his back.

Mitch promised Krysten that he would be committed to her and be a rock-solid partner as well as treat her with kindness and respect and value her needs as if they're his own.

Mitch vowed to be patient, refrain from judgement, and give her space whenever needed. He also vowed to be honest, truthful, and maintain an open heart. He planned to share everything that he has and everything he is with her.

Mitch asked Krysten for permission to kiss after the ceremony, and she announced, "Yeah, we're kissing!"

During their first conversation, the couple gushed about being happy so far. Krysten said the wedding was awesome but she needed to manage her expectations and stay on course in order not to go "crazy Krysten."

Mitch revealed how he works in coastal environment policy and feels like he has purpose in life as an activist, and Krysten said they're aligned and she has a water bottle she always uses. Krysten said she likes a tall guy with a bald head and a beard.

"I love it. [There is] 100 percent attraction and chemistry right off the bat. I am like hot for him, for real. I am!" Krysten told the cameras.

Krysten and Mitch just tried to get through the photos, and Mitch admitted to a friend he felt in shock and was out of it. When she asked if he was happy, he replied, "It's a little early."

Mitch told the cameras of his bride, "At first glance, I thought she was really pretty, but I wasn't right off the bat attracted to her because my type is less physical and more lifestyle. She maybe seems a little more mainstream than me."

"I'm much more attracted to a woman in her natural state than super dolled up for a wedding," he continued. "I don't want to take anything away from the fact she looked amazing and really lovely, but I want to see the more natural side... I'm happy I think she likes me."

He added, "My hope for the future is that we really hit it off and that this little spark grows."

Meanwhile, Morgan was upset because she was sitting in her bed on her wedding day while her groom, Binh, was slowly recovering from COVID-19.

"It's hard to explain the disappointment I have right now... I am so mad because of course this would happen to me... But it's going to be fine, it's going to be perfectly fine. The wedding is going to happen and it's going to be great," Morgan said in a confessional.

And during Lindy and Miguel's wedding, Lindy said it was her dream wedding. Lindy admitted that when she saw Miguel's pink and blue paisley and fashion-forward suit at first, she panicked, but then she found out he's good looking and felt very relieved.

Miguel said he'd be "an idiot" to f-ck this up with Lindy, and she seemed smitten with her new husband.

When the couple had their first dance as man and wife, Lindy didn't know how to dance and admitted she had never danced with a man before due to her religious past.

Lindy told Miguel that she thought he was strikingly handsome and so cute, and Miguel assured his wife that she's very pretty. Lindy also said she liked Miguel's energy.

When Krysten and Mitch danced together, Krysten said she felt really comfortable with him. Mitch was overwhelmed and told Krysten that he couldn't wait to see her in casual attire and sweats.

"It's too early for me to say definitively if this is going to work or not. I just need to take it day by day and relax," Mitch said, adding how he used to project everything he wanted a woman to be on his girlfriend and then that person would end up disappointing him.

"It's my fault because I made them up to be something that they're not, so I'm trying not to fall into that trap."

Meanwhile, Stacia was feeling "butterflies" for Nate and said she felt like a little school girl all over again. Stacia said she was happy and thought Nate is super attractive. She had no concerns off the bat, which is unusual for Stacia because she said she always noticed red flags early on when dating.

The couple discussed how they'd be open to moving out of San Diego and having multiple homes in multiple places. Nate loved Stacia's flexibility and said he wanted to be a power couple.

Nate asked Stacia if she wanted a younger husband, and she said "no." Stacia's lowest age range was 33, and so Nate barely hit the mark. Nate admitted he asked for a woman between 27-34; however, Pastor Cal asked him to be open-minded since he wanted an independent wife with a career.

Over at Alexis and Justin's wedding, Justin said he loved his wife's personality, and Alexis told her husband that she liked him and they seemed to be a good balance. Alexis said Justin let her be free, which was perfect for her.

Justin shared how he's a natural pleaser and can admit he's wrong when he's wrong, which Alexis liked hearing.

During the wedding receptions and dinners, Lindy and Miguel bonded over a love for the Spanish language, and Lindy said it had been the best day of her life. Lindy wanted to marry an older man, someone who's ready for a long-term commitment, and Miguel seemed mature and accomplished.

Miguel's sister Pricilla told Lindy that her brother needed effective communication in a relationship and they had a tumultuous childhood.

The pair apparently grew up practically with absent parents, and Pricilla said it was rough but Miguel was a well-adjusted magnificent man. The women got along, but Miguel had an awkward moment when sitting down with Lindy's mother, sister and brother.

Lindy's brother Luke asked Miguel if he believes in God, and Miguel explained how organized religion doesn't make sense to him. Miguel said he could never tell someone that the higher power they believe in is wrong. Miguel said there's no way how to tell who's right or wrong.

"Having a relationship with God is everything. It ties into every little thing that I do... I was hoping and praying that there would be belief in a higher power in the man that's wanting to spend the rest of his life with my little sister," Luke admitted.

Meanwhile, Mitch liked it when Krysten took her heels off so they could chill. Mitch told Krysten's mother how he doesn't believe in love at first sight, and he wouldn't really say whether he found Krysten attractive.

Mitch also said he's a mission-based person who measures success on impact vs. money, and Krysten's mom said Krysten is independent but would like someone who is financially stable and shares the same goals.

After Justin and his brother were shown having a heart-to-heart, Justin said his wife seemed to be "everything and then some."

Alexis also got to know Justin's groomsmen, who revealed Justin is sensitive. Alexis said while being a "ride or die" was a strong phrase, she was committed to the process and had no reservations and called Justin "my man."

"When I was walking down the aisle, it wasn't so clear. It was not obvious that this was going to be the man of my dreams, but after getting to know him, the superficialness of me walking down the aisle and not being immediately attracted to him seems silly... It seems silly after I've talked to him and gotten to know him," Alexis told the cameras.

Justin then told Alexis' sisters how Alexis was going to be his priority in life next to God. The women asked Justin to take care of Alexis and be firm, and Alexis informed Justin's buddies that when she's mad, Justin shouldn't leave her alone.

Mitch and Miguel then ran into each other in the bathroom. Miguel said he was "smitten" and "full steam ahead," and Mitch said Krysten was cute and they were "vibing."

Mitch also told his groomsmen that there was "potential for a strong attraction," and Krysten gushed to her girlfriends how she really liked Mitch and was super into him.

Over at Nate's wedding, Stacia's sister Asti asked Nate to reveal his true intentions, and Nate said he looked forward to talking to Stacia because the physical was already there for him. Stacia told Nate's friends that she's a bit stubborn and needed to be vulnerable.

Stacia and Nate then sat down with Nate's close blonde friend Megan, who told Stacia that she could reach out and ask questions at any time. Megan said she and Nate did a lot of game nights and had known each other for a year.

Megan got emotional, saying she loved her friends, and wanted what's best for Nate. She said she liked hiking and watching sunsets with Nate, but Stacia appeared to think the relationship was a little off-putting.

"If I don't agree with his boundaries with his female friends, that's going to be a conversation that we need to have. I don't want our marriage to be disrespected because of outside relationships," Stacia said in a confessional.

Lindy's bridesmaid asked Lindy if she was going to have sex with Miguel that night, but Lindy's answer wasn't shown.

Nate told his friends how things could heat up that night for Stacia and himself but he was going to follow her lead. Stacia also told her girls how she was for a freak in the sheets -- just not that night.

Justin told his pals he wanted to talk to Alexis and felt no pressure to have sex right away. Alexis bragged about her "designer vagina."

Both Krysten and Stacia said things felt right and they believed they could fall in love. Stacia went as far as to say Nate seemed perfect, perfect for her.

"I feel like he's The One," Stacia said while crying tears of joy.

Miguel said he could definitely envision himself being with Lindy for many years to come, and Justin said Alexis was his type 100 percent.

"I couldn't have asked for a better wife,"
Justin gushed.

Once Justin and Alexis got settled in their hotel room, Justin said he always wanted to name his daughter Grace, which is Alexis' middle name. They both learned they had been senior-class president of their respective schools.

And then Alexis shared with Justin how she had recognized him at the altar.

"How did you react when you saw me?" Justin asked.

"I was like, 'Oh crap, oh crap -- definitely saw him on Hinge on a dating app, for sure.' I was like, 'Oh, I've seen his face before,'" Alexis said.

Alexis apparently stumbled across Justin's profile four months prior, but she assured him, "We're good. It was something that was superficial for me but I'm passed that and I'm glad that you're my husband. I am thankful."

Justin said he was going to do everything possible to keep Alexis and make her happy. He said he wanted a mental connection before having sex but it was going to be hard for him to remain celibate after watching his wife take her wedding dress off.

Alexis said she felt comfortable with Justin and wasn't going to pressure him. However, she wasn't against things getting steamy and potentially happening in the middle of the night.

The couple then got under the covers and began sensually kissing each other, and Justin joked, "We're married -- we're in this!"

Alexis told her husband, "Sir, keep your celibate hands to yourself."

And Justin replied with a smile, "Unless you tell me not to."
