The couples were matched by Married at First Sight experts Pastor Calvin Roberson, Dr. Jessica Griffin, and Dr. Pepper Schwartz based on compatibility, personality, life goals, hobbies, religion, views of marriage and gender roles, and much more.

Over the course of the season, which filmed for seven weeks, each couple will be shown navigating the joys and struggles of daily life together after agreeing to an arranged marriage.

The Married at First Sight broadcast began on Day 14 of marriage in this extreme experiment.

Kristine and Keith gushed about "exploring" each other and the rooms in their new place the previous night.

Keith revealed he had sex with his wife for the first time and was "amazing" -- although he joked it "was very quick."

As for Kristine, she said of the experience, "The first time was just a disaster; it was way too fast. But then he decided to help me relax a little bit more in the three rooms of our house."

Kristine thought it was "crazy" she was developing real, genuine feelings for her husband so fast, and Keith was clearly on the same page.

"I don't know what love means, but I'm starting to feel it with Kristine," Keith noted.

Meanwhile, Kate and Luke woke up together for the first time in their new place, and Kate just wanted to stay in bed all day with her husband. He joked that she took up the entire bed.

Kate said she and Luke were committed to the process and each other but they were still lacking passion in their relationship. However, respect for one another helped them get through each and every day.

And Will said getting married and moving in with his wife was "surreal." Will attempted to show Jasmine his culinary skills and hoped they would impress her.

Jasmine admitted it was "weird" to watch a man cook for her but she really enjoyed it. The couple was getting along well, but Will acknowledged every day was a learning experience.

Jasmine, however, noted her husband was not an affectionate person. Not only were they still waiting to consummate their marriage, but Jasmine also pointed out Will didn't like to cuddle or hug.

"But I think of Will as a friend with potential, and I think our friendship is going to grow into something emotional -- and a physical friendship," Jasmine told the cameras.

AJ was then shown saying that he didn't handle the stress of their move well. He apologized to his wife Stephanie for getting frustrated, annoyed and flustered.

Stephanie wasn't used to seeing her husband upset, so AJ advised her to brush things off when that happens. The couple agreed they made each other happy and always wanted to see their spouse happy.

That night, the four Married at First Sight girls met at a bar, played some pool and discussed married life.

Jasmine said she loved the companionship of marriage, especially since her job tends to stress her out. Jasmine also noted sexual chemistry was there, but she was waiting for Will to make the first move and make it happen.

Kristine also revealed, "We've been enjoying each other completely... no complaints here!"

As the girls gushed about their relationships, Kate was quiet and it quickly became apparent to the other ladies she and Luke were still struggling with their romantic chemistry.

Kate explained she got along with Luke very well and he always knew the right thing to say to calm her down in stressful situations. Kate, however, was still trying to be patient about the lack of physical intimacy in their marriage.

Kristine was glad Kate and Luke were not about to give up on their romance. It also made Kate feel better to hear Jasmine and Will were okay with starting their marriage as friends rather than lovers, because that's how Luke preferred to handle the situation.

Meanwhile, the husbands gathered for a night out at a bar.

Luke revealed Pastor Cal had helped him through a difficult situation with Kate -- when Luke had told Kate he felt "repulsed" and "dead inside" following their first real kiss -- and AJ confessed to cameras he would have divorced Luke right away had he been in Kate's shoes.

Keith and AJ then shared with the group how they were having sex with their wives.

"It's just annoying how AJ keeps bringing up how he's having sex all the time, but hearing that Will and Jas haven't had sex yet makes me realize my situation is not as bad as I thought it was," Luke explained in a confessional. "These are just common growing pains when you marry a stranger."

On Day 17 of marriage, Dr. Pepper paid Kristine and Keith a visit in their new home less than five weeks before "Decision Day."

Keith joked with cameras that Kristine initiated sex every night and so he gave it to her when she wanted it. Kristine said she was very attracted to her husband, so she didn't mind making a move whenever she was in the mood.

Kristine and Keith then discussed with Dr. Pepper how they had no plans for children in the near future but were not using contraception or birth control.

Dr. Pepper said it was important for them to discuss their timing and goals for starting a family since they weren't exactly being careful.

The experts then advised each couple to get together with their friends and family, and Kate admitted it was "such a weird feeling" to throw a party with her husband whom she had known for such a short amount of time.

"I definitely feel like we are doing a lot better in our marriage than we were a week ago. I know I still make her uncomfortable because I'm a stranger relatively at this point [though]," Luke said in a confessional.

Kate was "cautiously optimistic" about her marriage and a little nervous about everyone mixing and mingling that night at their place.

Kate hoped Luke was going to treat her right in front of her friends because she didn't want them to have a problem with him.

Meanwhile, Kristine was excited to cook for their guests, but Keith anticipated having to answer some awkward or tough questions about his new love life.

The couple talked about welcoming children with their friends, and Keith acknowledged he was ready to have a baby tomorrow. However, Kristine said she wanted to wait a little while because she was excelling in her career and wanted more time to enjoy marriage with her husband.

At Jasmine and Will's place, the couple was asked if they had been intimate yet.

Will confessed sex wasn't in the cards for them yet but he wanted their first time to be special and meaningful. Will also explained he wanted to know his wife better before sleeping with her.

Will said a mental and emotional connection was more sustainable than just a physical connection in marriage, but he and Jasmine made it clear they were working towards bonding on all different levels.

Jasmine wanted children, however, sooner rather than later -- and so she wasn't going to wait forever for Will to come around.

As for AJ and Stephanie, they met their closest friends at a nearby restaurant, and AJ joked Stephanie was a more attractive version of himself.

AJ could envision himself falling in love with Stephanie "100 percent." Instead of feeling smothered in his relationship, he missed Stephanie every time she wasn't around.

AJ was happy he could call Stephanie his wife, and he planned on calling her that for the rest of his life.

But things went differently for Luke and Kate, who felt pressure to make Luke's friends like her since their marriage was slightly on the rocks.

Kate did everything she could to be outgoing and not shy, but she was definitely nervous and intimidated by the number of Luke's friends.

"It feels like it's Luke's housewarming party and not our housewarming party," Kate said.

Luke told the cameras that Kate always feared she was being judged, and such a trait worried him. He didn't want a spouse who felt uncomfortable in public situations or stood in the corner.

Kate didn't feel like the party brought her closer to Luke at first, but as time passed, she felt more comfortable around his friends, who asked her questions about her life and new marriage.

Luke was ultimately impressed by Kate, and he really appreciated how her happy and bubbly personality shined through.

At the end of the night, Luke gave Kate a peck on the lips and she finally felt like her husband liked her. Kate saw that as a sign of good things to come.

Meanwhile, Jasmine felt something big was missing in her relationship.

"I am currently not satisfied with the level of intimacy we have. I don't know how to even create the scene or show it. I don't know what to do at this point, but I need some affection!" Jasmine vented in a confessional.

But AJ and Stephanie were doing better than ever. AJ was comforted by having a teammate and someone sleeping next to him.
