Married at First Sight featured all 10 of Season 12's cast members sitting down individually with an expert and Chris Williams making a shocking declaration about Paige Banks during Wednesday night's broadcast on Lifetime.

At this point in Season 12, four of the five Married at First Sight couples were only 19 days away from "Decision Day": Haley Harris and Jacob Harder, Clara Berghaus and Ryan Oubre, Erik Lake and Virginia Coombs, and Vincent Morales and Briana Myles.

However, Chris asked Paige for a divorce shortly before their one-month anniversary, and so footage currently features their individual journeys on the show heading to "Decision Day."

The five couples were matched for matrimony by the show's experts Pastor Calvin Roberson, Dr. Pepper Schwartz, and Dr. Viviana Coles.

Pastor Cal asked to meet with Chris and wasn't even sure Chris was going to show up considering Chris was about 45 minutes late. Pastor Cal expressed disappointment in the result of Chris and Paige's match because he had "high hopes" for them as a married couple.

During their one-on-one conversation, Chris admitted he wasn't attracted to Paige -- and never would have approached her as a stranger in a bar or at church -- due to her "physical features," namely her face.

Chris accused the experts of not picking "a beautiful queen" for him based on his tastes.

"There are so many Black queens, white queens, and Spanish queens in the city here of Atlanta, and I feel like it shouldn't be hard to find somebody [for me] because I'm not that picky," Chris insisted.

"Chris, you're not that picky?!" Pastor Cal asked in disbelief.

"Out of the millions of women here, y'all picked the one that was just like [not attractive]," Chris said.

Pastor Cal complained, "I'm not going to take that! That is so note true. It's not. It's not."

Pastor Cal reminded Chris that he wanted to be a power couple with a woman and be able to command a room together, but Chris said attraction is so important.

"In every other area, she was qualified -- it's just you didn't like her face," Pastor Cal said.

"Yes sure," Chris confessed.

Pastor Cal told Chris that he needed to be focused on shared values and let attraction grow. He added that Chris never gave Paige a real chance and this process had been very painful for Paige.

Pastor Cal told Chris his behavior on Married at First Sight was not his "finest hour," especially when he bought a new car for his ex-fiancee, but Chris said he tried his absolute best with Paige and had even invited her to pick out a car with his pregnant ex-fiancee Mercedes Myrick.

Pastor Cal yelled that such a scenario didn't even make sense and Chris was showing "how little" he cared about Paige's feelings, but Chris argued, "That's not true... I'm just excited about the pregnancy. That's all it is."

Pastor Cal said Chris needs to work on himself in order to be ready for his next serious relationship.

"Don't you think you at least owe Paige an apology for what you've put her through?" Pastor Cal asked.

"I don't. I can't apologize to her for that," Chris replied, leaving Pastor Cal to roll his eyes and end the pair's meeting.

As for Paige, Pepper used their session to apologize for how Paige's journey with Chris had gone.

"I thought that you guys were going to be a great couple. We all did. We thought we had somebody who was going to be the right partner, that everything on paper looked good, that what he told us looked good," Pepper explained.

"And we had no idea what a mess of a life he had behind the curtain... I want you to know that you're a superior human being. If he wasn't such an extraordinary narcissist -- I'm not going to mince words on my opinion -- he would recognize that. And I don't want you to take that garbage!"

Pepper said Paige deserved "so much better" and Chris didn't think about anybody but himself.

Paige admitted she had no idea why Chris even wanted her to meet Mercedes face to face, and Pepper expressed her belief that Chris' motive was simply to hurt her.

Pepper said the right man will come along and treat her the right way, and she recommended that Paige set boundaries for herself going forward.

"It's onward and upward," Pepper noted.

Paige intended to ask Chris on "Decision Day" why he even signed up for the Married at First Sight experiment when he had been "so quick and eager to drop [his legally-binding] marriage... in a week."

Paige was later shown moving out of her Married at First Sight apartment by herself with unanswered questions, but she said she was "still hopeful" about finding love with the right man.

Virginia and Briana battled a similar issue in their relationships, given both women admitted to having fears about being pregnant and giving birth. Virginia expressed concern she may not be a good mom, and Briana just worried about carrying a child in general and giving birth.

After Virginia spoke to Pastor Cal and Erik opened up to Pepper, Erik told Virginia that he was going to back off their conversations about Virginia's dog Rocky and just essentially let him be Virginia's baby and responsibility.

Erik also asked Virginia to have serious conversations when alcohol is not involved and to give him one weekend a month for just the two of them. Virginia agreed to put aside time for Erik as long as they could plan the weekend in advance so she wouldn't have to cancel on any of her friends.

When Virginia expressed her worry about children being an ultimatum for Erik, he assured his wife that he wouldn't leave her if she can't physically have a kid or there are complications.

"That's not going to stop us. That's something we'll tackle when we have to do that," Erik said. "You need to realize that I'm not going to go anywhere... I think you're so good with [children]... You would do the best that you absolutely could."

When Briana dished about her conversation with Pepper to Vincent, the pair disagreed over how to blend their different sleep cycles and timeline with having children.

Briana explained she didn't want to have children in the next three years because she's "afraid to give birth" due to "the pain and the fluids" and her body changing and evolving.

Briana also revealed she has high blood pressure, which could result in a pregnancy complication.

Vincent remained quiet during the conversation and Briana could tell he was frustrated.

"I hope it doesn't scare him away," Briana noted, before Vincent pointed out having a baby will get harder the older she becomes.

Vincent was concerned about potentially getting divorced in two weeks because he couldn't imagine himself without children.

For Clara and Vincent, Clara told Pastor Cal that she couldn't have imagined a better match for her than Ryan and the big surprise of her relationship was how well they were getting along.

"This is the best relationship I've ever had, for sure!" Clara gushed, adding that she was in love with Ryan.

Clara, however, expressed concern over how Ryan had never said "I love you" to a woman before and admitted she wanted to have sex with her husband, who had been very reserved in past relationships and went months if not years without having sex.

"Will you be okay if what you're doing now is all you will ever do?" Pastor Cal asked Clara.

"No," Clara replied.

When Clara and Ryan reunited after their individual meetings with the experts, Clara said she didn't want to push Ryan to be intimate if he didn't feel ready.

"I am a little sexually frustrated, but I also have a lot of respect for you," Clara shared.

Ryan reiterated how he was very happy in their relationship but wanted their first sexual encounter to be "meaningful and special," and he unfortunately couldn't give Clara a timeline on when it might happen.

And finally, Jacob revealed to Pastor Cal that he was physically attracted to Haley but unable to connect with her or find some common ground. Jacob felt he was playing by Haley's rules, which made creating chemistry difficult.

Jacob wondered what Haley's expectations were in a husband and what had made her "pull back" in Las Vegas following their first and only intimate encounter.

"I do admire her determination and sort of her strong will, and I could see why we were matched because I do think we complement each other in certain ways," Jacob shared, expressing hope their relationship could still work out.

Haley told Pepper that she liked how Jacob was a loyal and independent home and dog owner, but she couldn't believe that they were still missing a connection.

Pepper pointed out that Haley hadn't made any changes for Jacob when he was clearly trying to change for her, which made Haley break down into tears because she wanted to be married so badly but felt "a sense of failure."

With 17 days left until "Decision Day," Haley planned to have an authentic conversation with Jacob and really try to get to know him better. Haley admitted to Jacob she had shut down earlier on because she didn't want to be in a controlling relationship again and it annoyed her when Jacob didn't engage her in conversation.

Jacob felt this was his last chance to find love and he was unfortunately repeating the dating mistakes of his past.

"Do you genuinely think I am the person for you though?" Haley asked.

"I think if you wanted this, it would work," Jacob replied.

Haley told Jacob that she still wanted to try.
