Carrie Underwood apparently enjoyed acting so much on her recent holiday special that she's decided to give it another go.

The American Idol fourth-season winner has been tapped to appear in an upcoming episode of CBS' How I Met Your Mother sitcom, People reported Wednesday.

Underwood will play the role of Tiffany, a pharmaceutical sales representative who is the love interest of Ted, played by actor Josh Radnor.

The How I Met Your Mother episode starring the newly-engaged Underwood is scheduled to air in March, People reported.

Carrie Underwood: An All-Star Holiday Special aired on Fox last month, and the two-hour variety show featured performances by Underwood as well as skits starring her and several guest stars.

In addition, former Dancing with the Stars second-season celebrity participant Stacy Keibler will appear on How I Met Your Mother's 100th episode on January 11, People reported.
