The Bachelorette alum Hannah Brown has revealed she hooked up with Peter Weber while his The Bachelor season was airing on ABC.

Peter got engaged to his final rose-recipient Hannah Ann Sluss during The Bachelor's Season 24 finale, which filmed in November 2019.

But Hannah wrote in her upcoming book, God Bless This Mess: Learning to Live and Love Through Life's Best (and Worst) Moments, that after Peter's season began airing in January 2020, she had "heard that they were having troubles," according to People.

Hannah, 27, said she and Peter then reconnected at Bachelor in Paradise couple Dylan Barbour and Hannah Godwin's February 2020 engagement party, and the pair spent time talking before quietly leaving the party together as to not draw attention to themselves.

"He was like, 'I have so much to tell you,'" Hannah reportedly reveals in her book, which hits shelves on Tuesday, November 23.

The former Alabama beauty queen recalled ending up in bed with the pilot that evening.

"The chemistry just wasn't there," Hannah admits of the tryst. "It just sucked. And then, I found out he had another girl [The Bachelor Season 24 runner-up Madison Prewett] on his mind. It was all so bizarre."

Hannah claimed she hasn't spoken to Peter since their little rendezvous last year.

"Things might not have turned out the way I expected, but I try to learn from every moment," Hannah shares in her book. "I don't wish ill on anybody. And I'm in a really good place."

Sluss said on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast last year that Peter had asked for her blessing -- when they were still engaged -- to reach out to Hannah because he "needed closure" in early January 2020.

Sluss suggested Peter had never received the closure he hoped for from Hannah and then she and Peter had their final breakup conversation "about a week" later and ended their engagement in late January.

Not only was Peter apparently struggling with residual feelings for Hannah at the time, but he also still felt attached to Madison, who quit The Bachelor season during her final date with Peter.

Madison and Peter, however, decided to give their relationship another shot on The Bachelor: After the Final Rose in March 2020, but they announced just two days later they had decided it would be best not to pursue a romance.

Hannah also details in her new book how it felt to dump Peter in third place on The Bachelorette's fifteenth season, which aired in early 2019.

"I was so upset breaking up with him," Hannah recalls. "I know he really did care about me and he's such a great guy. I was really confused."

Hannah chose country singer Jed Wyatt as her winner over runner-up Tyler Cameron on The Bachelorette, but she and Jed broke up before the Season 15 finale even aired because she discovered he had a girlfriend back home in Nashville during filming.

Hannah then asked Tyler out on a date during The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose, but one night together in Los Angeles didn't result in reconciliation. Tyler, instead, moved on with supermodel Gigi Hadid.

Once Peter was announced as The Bachelor star by Fall 2019, Hannah explains, "Once I knew that, it helped shield my feelings for him. I still didn't know if I could get there with him."

Hannah then competed on Dancing with the Stars and showed up on Peter's The Bachelor season twice during her stressful practice schedule.

After exiting a limo on Night 1 just to return a wings clip Peter had given her, she also hosted a "sex stories" group date, which got derailed when Peter found her alone in a room crying.

Hannah admitted to Peter she had unresolved and lingering romantic feelings for him in a very touch-feely and teary-eyed conversation, and Peter seemed to feel the same way.

"Going back and seeing him as the Bachelor, it brought up a lot," Hannah says.

"[Off-camera], Peter told me he'd quit the show, 100 percent, if I could say that I wanted to be with him. I wanted to go on a date with him, but I couldn't say that I knew for sure."

As for what was actually shown on television, Peter essentially asked Hannah to join his cast of bachelorettes because they clearly still had intense chemistry, but Hannah seemingly wanted to just take off together and try dating in the real world.

Peter actually admitted back in April that he was ready to walk away from his The Bachelor season during filming when Hannah appeared open to the idea of dating him again.

"I was an idiot, producers probably hated me, but I literally, like, I think they edited this part out, I was like, 'I'm gonna leave the show, like, if you want to, if you want to give this a shot, I'll leave right now,'" Peter revealed on Us Weekly's "Here for the Right Reasons" podcast.

"And she's like, 'You can't do that, Peter, you're the Bachelor, you signed a contract.' I'm like, 'No, like, I'll do it. What are they gonna do to me?'... I don't know what I was thinking that day. I was very confused."

But the episode showed Peter, recognizing he had been Hannah's third choice on The Bachelorette, deciding to part ways with Hannah once and for all in order to give his cast of women a fair chance.

"Our lives kind of separated there," Peter noted on the podcast.

Once Peter had Hannah, Sluss and Madison in his rearview mirror, he reunited with his fifth-place The Bachelor finisher Kelley Flanagan and the pair quarantined together in Chicago beginning in March 2020.

What supposedly was intended to be a friendship quickly took a romantic direction and then the couple dated -- on and off -- until they announced their split in February 2021.

Peter said in April that he's "super happy" for Hannah and her current relationship with boyfriend Adam Woolard.

"I see she's in an awesome relationship... and so that just makes me super happy," Peter shared. "And she's an amazing person. And I've got nothing but great things to say about her."

For Peter's part, he reportedly joined a dating app recently and is interested in dating a woman outside of Bachelor Nation. However, he hasn't ruled out a future appearance on Bachelor in Paradise if he's still looking for love by that point.
