"We're proud to be the exclusive cable home of Jesse James, whose authentic, straightforward persona resonates perfectly with the Spike TV audience," said Sharon Levy, Spike TV's senior vice president of development. "He embodies the brand with an incredible energy that we are thrilled to have on our network."

Payupsucker Productions, James' own production company that he recently established, will produce two specials and two primetime pilots in each year of the two-year deal with Spike TV.

Metal Church, the first pilot being developed under the agreement, is a do-it-yourself series that will follow James as he shows viewers the ins and outs of customizing vehicles.  In addition, the first Spike TV special starring James is slated to air during the second quarter in 2008.

"I am very proud and excited to have a home for everything I have to offer," said James. "From day one, Spike has been tailor-made for the nutty stuff I do and for the people who watch it! I look forward to years of busting my a**!"

Monster Garage premiered in 2002 on Discovery Channel and aired five seasons before broadcasting its finale in June 2006.

James' West Coast Choppers company -- which he opened in the mid 1990s and was the focal point for much of Monster Garage's action -- has since grown into a 250,000-square-foot series of art deco warehouses in Long Beach, CA that were restored and modified to house the operations for the company best known for selling chopper-style motorcycles.

In addition to appearing in the Spike TV shows and specials included in the two-year deal, James will also serve as executive producer.
