The Biggest Loser's thirteenth season eliminated Emily Joy during Tuesday night's broadcast of the NBC reality weight-loss competition's eleventh episode.

Emily, a 29-year-old teacher from Huntersville, NC, became the eleventh contestant ousted from the competition's thirteenth season after she finished with one of the lowest weight-loss percentages at the Week 11 weigh-in, which featured the nine remaining contestants weighing-in individually as singles, and was subsequently voted off by the rest of the season's cast.

"I feel like my time was cut short here. I'm hoping that the lifestyle changes -- that's what's going to matter in the end. I'm going to miss all the opportunities we get. This is a great experience. Oh God, I'm going to miss [Bob Harper]! He knows exactly how to push me and that's why I'm a little nervous to go home," Emily said following her ouster.

"But I don't want to be 'Woe is me' and wallow in this. I want to create my future. I want to live my life and start my 30's off with this clean slate. That excuse of 'I don't believe in myself' has got to be history if this is what I want."

The Biggest Loser's eleventh thirteenth-season episode began following Cassandra Sturos elimination after the season's previous weigh-in. The Biggest Loser host Alison Sweeney then met with the Red team -- who trained with previously new trainer Dolvett Quince, who returned to the show for his second season -- and the Black team, who worked under the guidance of veteran trainer Bob, and told all the contestants they'd be competing as singles and must fend for themselves for the rest of the competition with the help of their trainers.

Alison went on to explain that for the first time all season, there would be a yellow line at the upcoming weigh-in in which two individuals with the lowest weight-loss percentages would fall below a yellow line and face elimination, forcing the safe contestants to vote one of them out of the competition.

Emily and Kim Nielsen, a 38-year-old former professional wrestler from Roswell, GA, worried that they would be the next two contestants voted off The Biggest Loser ranch if they happened to fall below the yellow line due to the fact they were threats and everyone knew they had formed an all-female alliance the week prior with Cassandra and Conda Britt, a 24-year-old nutrition health services technician from Rockford, MI -- who was friends with the girls but admitted to the remaining male contestants at the time that she had more loyalty to her brother Jeremy Britt, a 22-year-old banker from Rockford, MI.

Afterwards, the contestants met up with Alison again and learned they'd be competing in the week's challenge.

For the challenge, everyone was tied to a large ring in the center of an ice rink. The contestants were required to each pull themselves toward their own rope, which was connected to a buzzer in front of them. However, in order to do that, they had to pull the other players with them. The first player to press his or her buzzer would win the challenge and be able to choose amongst nine boxed prizes.

Because there were nine contestants and nine prizes, each player was able to select a box containing a prize. The contestant to finish in ninth place got to choose his or prize first, then the eighth-place finisher could go, and so on, until the contestant to come in first place had only one available prize left to grab.

However, each contestant could opt to trade prizes with the players whom they had beat and finished before in the challenge -- meaning, the person to finish in first place could take his or her pick amongst all nine prizes, while the ninth-place finisher would get stuck with whatever prize was left over after all the trades were completed and be denied a choice in the matter.

Jeremy ended up winning the challenge with Conda's assistance, and he was soon followed by Megan Stone in second -- who had been helped by Mark Cornelison -- Mark in third, Conda in fourth place, and fifth-place finisher Christine "Chris" Pickler.

Following Chris, Kim then finished the challenge in sixth place, Kim "Kimmy" Stone came in seventh, and Emily finished in eighth place. Allen "Buddy" Shuh, a 42-year-old pastor from Wayne, MI, was instructed to sit out of the challenge because he suffered from a stress fracture.

Buddy, for coming in ninth place, selected a The Biggest Loser hat, while Emily got to use a phone for the day. Seventh-place finisher Kimmy received an autographed photo of Alison with a personal message attached from the host. Kim got a large box of chocolates, Chris received a one-pound advantage for coming in fifth place, and Conda selected a box containing a one-dollar bill. However, she traded with Chris for the pound advantage.

Third-place finisher Mark earned two votes at elimination as long as he kept himself above the yellow line, and then Megan picked a goldfish but traded up for the one-pound advantage -- leaving Conda with the fish. Jeremy, for coming in first place, picked the box that contained a shopping date with a celebrity and the choice to bring one person along for the ride.

Jeremy decided to give his shopping prize to his sister Conda because he knew she'd really enjoy the opportunity, and then he reluctantly accepted the goldfish in return.

The contestants then worked out with Bob and Dolvett. Emily helped Bob train for Olympic weight-lifting, while Dolvett took Kimmy rock climbing in order to help her overcome her fear of heights.

Later on, Conda also took advantage of her shopping prize and opted to have Kim join her because she related to how Kim was a struggling single mom at home without much free time to pamper herself. The pair ended up shopping with Fashion Star mentor Jessica Simpson and they got to pick out whatever clothes they wanted. Kim and Conda also received diamond butterfly pendants and a year supply of anti-aging beauty products.

After all the contestants participated in their last chance workouts, The Biggest Loser's thirteenth-season's eleventh elimination weigh-in commenced.

Alison reiterated how the yellow weigh-in line worked and explained that one of the two contestants to fall below it must be voted off by the season's remaining contestants.

The contestants then stepped on the scale one by one to learn their fate.

Kimmy, a 48-year-old registered nurse from Dittmer, MO, shed four pounds over the course of the week after she dropped from 167 pounds to 163 pounds and posted a 2.40% weight-loss percentage.

Conda fell from 228 pounds to 221 pounds after she lost seven pounds. She posted a 3.07% weight-loss percentage.

Jeremy posted a 3.19% weight-loss percentage after losing nine pounds. He dropped from 282 pounds to 273 pounds.

It was then time for Megan, a 21-year-old student and support staffer for an organization that assists disabled adults from Dittmer, MO, to weigh-in. Megan shed six pounds after falling from 204 pounds to 198 pounds and posted a 3.43% weight-loss percentage, which included her one-pound advantage.

Buddy dropped from 289 pounds to 281 pounds after losing eight pounds total and posting a 2.77% weight-loss percentage.

Kim posted a 3.30% weight-loss percentage and shed six pounds after she fell from 182 pounds to 176 pounds.

Chris dropped from 184 pounds to 177 pounds after she lost seven pounds and posted a 3.80% weight-loss percentage, while Mark lost nine pounds after falling from 213 pounds to 204 pounds and posting a 4.23% weight-loss percentage.

Emily was then the last contestant to step on the scale for the week and learned she had shed five pounds after dropping from 195 to 190 pounds and posting a 2.56% weight-loss percentage.

As a result, Kimmy and Emily fell below the yellow line and the other contestants had to deliberate to decide which of the two contestants would be eliminated from The Biggest Loser's thirteenth season.

The contestants then revealed their votes. Kim and Conda voted to oust Kimmy from The Biggest Loser, while Megan, Chris, Jeremy, and Mark -- who had two votes to count against someone -- voted for Emily. Five votes were enough to constitute for Emily's elimination without having to reveal Buddy's vote.

In a post-elimination update, Emily, who started The Biggest Loser weighing 264 pounds, said she currently weighs 174 pounds.

She explained she wanted to pursue her passion for opera singing and ended up reaching out to The Biggest Loser's eleventh-season champion Olivia Ward, who happened to be an experienced opera singer. Olivia then introduced Emily to her singing coach and enabled her to have a special vocal training session. The coach claimed Emily had immense potential.
