The Bachelor star Peter Weber has slammed Madison Prewett for revealing he tried to reconcile with her last month only two days before he suddenly moved on to hooking up with Kelley Flanagan instead.

Madison -- who announced on March 12 that she and Peter had called it quits on their relationship -- said during the Tuesday episode of Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe that she was "definitely hurt and thrown off" by Peter and Kelley self-isolating together, especially since neither Peter or her former "best friend" had given Madison a heads up or explanation.

Madison also accused Peter of the following: "Two days before he was spotted in Chicago, he was calling me and texting me, being like, 'I miss you, let's get back together!' I mean, I think that to me was a little confusing."

But Peter has slammed Madison's disclosure as disrespectful and claims Madison left out some key details when sharing her side of the story.

"@madiprew you'd think you'd have a little more respect for this situation given we both know there's more to the story..." Peter commented on a post about Madison's podcast interview with Kaitlyn Bristowe on the Instagram account @bachelornation.scoop.

Peter then unfollowed Madison on Instagram, according to Cosmopolitan magazine.

Madison said on Tuesday that she had found out about Peter and Kelley's secret reunion with the rest of the world when Peter "got caught" and flirty photographs of the pair out in Kelley's Chicago hometown leaked online, one of which had captured Peter carrying Kelley over his shoulder.

"[Peter] texted me after [the news] had been out for a couple of days. He sent me this long, long text just kind of explaining himself, but not really, and just kind of sharing the current situation or whatever," Madison claimed.

Madison recalled treating Peter with kindness although she felt very hurt.

"I was just like, 'Look, this doesn't affect anything for me, like, we went our separate ways, it's not like I lost something here.' But I told him... 'What I'm confused about, Peter, is two days ago, you were telling me how much you loved me and wanted to get back together, and now you're with the one person that was, like, my best friend.'"

Madison added on the podcast, "And when the pictures [of Peter and Kelley in Chicago] got leaked and everything came out, it was on my birthday! And he didn't text me on my birthday; she didn't text me on my birthday... It was kind of a jab at me."

Madison explained the whole situation was very hurtful because she and Kelley were "best friends" and "inseparable throughout the entire process" of The Bachelor, both during and after the show filmed.

"Everyone joked that we were the dynamic duo," Madison told Kaitlyn.

"I mean, we really leaned on each other through that entire thing. I remember even when I landed from Australia and got home, she was one of the first people that I called. She was in group messages with me and my family. We were really, really close and talked like 24/7."

Madison quit The Bachelor before the Final Rose Ceremony taped in Australia, so Peter proposed marriage to Hannah Ann Sluss at the end of his season.

However, Peter broke up with Hannah Ann in January because he couldn't give the model his whole heart, which resulted in Peter and Madison reconciling and giving their mutual love another shot on The Bachelor's March 10 finale. But the couple announced their decision to split two days later.

Based on Kelley's actions in recent weeks, Madison suggested their friendship is over.

"I haven't spoken to her in a really long time. I don't know. I had heard things -- and I even asked Peter about some of the rumors I had been hearing, about him and Kelley while we were still trying to figure our thing out," Madison shared.

When Madison confronted Peter about such rumors at the time, she recalled, "[Peter]'s answers and [Kelley]'s answers very much contradict the current situation that's happening right now, but it is what it is."

"To me, that was the most hurtful thing," Madison continued, "because [Kelley and I] went through so much together... I thought she was going to be in my wedding. I thought we were going to be best friends for life."

Madison, however, wished Peter and Kelley well in the future and acknowledged everyone handles breakups differently.

"I know Peter is not my husband and he's not the person I'm supposed to spend my forever with... I know he's not the one for me, and so I wish him all the best."

Peter told Nick Viall on his The Viall Files podcast earlier this month he and Kelley are not dating; however, the pilot admitted he could envision them becoming a romantic couple down the road.

"Are we dating? No. Do I love spending time with her? Absolutely. We're not dating. Could I see that in the future? I'm always transparent -- yeah, of course," Peter said at the time.

"I could definitely see that in the future. I'd be extremely lucky and very happy if that happened... I think the world of her."

Although production on The Bachelorette's sixteenth season starring Clare Crawley has yet to begin, The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart is currently airing Monday nights at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.
