Reports have circulated for weeks Juan Pablo Galavis was The Bachelor's worst star ever and production couldn't wait for the season to be over, but things were reportedly much worse than fans may think.

"The producers despise Juan Pablo! He was a total diva on set, throwing tantrums daily," a production insider told OK Weekly in its March 17 issue.
"A bad signal on his phone made him explode," added a show source. "Another time, he almost reduced a junior runner to tears over cuff links."
Galavis, a 32-year-old Venezuela native and former pro soccer player, was reportedly very focused on what the show could do for him besides trying to find him the love of his life. According to OK, he was materialistic and fame hungry.
"He demanded more money than any previous Bachelor contestant and wanted obscene amounts of per diem and free clothes," said the show source, adding that producers were also very displeased with "his obnoxious behavior" in regards to how he treated the bachelorettes.

"He slept with [many] of them... and it was hard to control," the show source told the magazine.
"He comes off as a pig," claimed a The Bachelor insider. "It's very telling that women are dumping him on the show. He seems like a womanizer."
Both a frustrated Andi Dorfman and unsatisfied Sharleen Joynt quit the show. The eighteenth season's runner-up Clare Crawley even threatened to leave at a couple points in the competition because Galavis had either disappointed or offended her.
If that's not bad enough, the show source also insisted Galavis was still getting physical with his ex-girlfriend Carla Rodriguez, who is the mother of his five-year-old daughter Camila, when he was dating numerous women on the show at once.
"They're very close, and she's the only woman he's ever truly loved. I heard they hooked up while filming The Bachelor," said the source.

"He might look totally gorgeous on the surface, but he has a wall around him that won't let anyone in," another insider told OK.
Galavis' season concluded without an engagement. He offered his final rose to Nikki Ferrell, and although the bachelorette had confessed her love to him on multiple occasions during the season, Galavis had yet to say those three words back by the time the After the Final Rose special aired live on ABC over four months later.
