The Bachelor star Arie Luyendyk Jr. eliminated Lauren Schleyer, Annaliese Puccini and Bibiana Julian during Monday night's broadcast of the series' 22nd season on ABC.

Arie, a 36-year-old pro racing driver turned real estate agent from Scottsdale, AZ, first ousted Lauren S., a 31-year-old social media manager for AT&T from Dallas, TX, during their one-on-one date in Napa Valley.

"I was not myself at all tonight," Lauren said after Arie denied her the date's rose. "I was all over the freaking place. I don't know why I can't be myself. I just can't be myself around him. Arie is a sweet person and I'm missing all of that. I feel bad."

Arie chose to send Annaliese, a 32-year-old event designer from San Francisco, CA, packing during the week's cocktail party preceding the Rose Ceremony.

Annaliese attempted to kiss The Bachelor star for the first time at the party, but he admitted they just weren't there yet.

The rejection prompted Annaliese to later confront Arie and ask bluntly whether they had potential for a relationship, and that's when Arie realized they didn't, and so he let her go.

"I'm going home right now, but I'm glad that I asked him. He's going off chemistry and gut reaction, which is what you should do, but I think it sucks that I was so in my head. I just feel like this environment brought out this maniac, crazy, anxious, nervous person. I feel scared that I'm not going to find love... That's my worst fear," Annaliese said in her final words.

Arie then decided to eliminate Bibiana, a 30-year-old executive assistant from Miami Beach, FL, during the season's third official Rose Ceremony.

"I deserve real love," Bibiana cried, "but I lost my chance and that really f-cking sucks. I don't deserve this. Someone just needs to give me a break. I am broken and I want everyone to know that I have tried. But you can't force something that's not there."

The Bachelor broadcast began with the 18 remaining women receiving a Date Card from host Chris Harrison, who teased that, "Behind every good man there is a strong woman."

The bachelorettes invited on the date were Bibiana; Maquel Cooper, a 23-year-old photographer from Orem, UT; Tia Booth, a 26-year-old physical therapist from Weiner, AR; Bekah Martinez is a 22-year-old nanny from Los Angeles, CA; Marikh Mathias, a 27-year-old restaurant owner from Salt Lake City, UT; Jacqueline Trumbull, is a 26-year-old research coordinator from New York, NY; Lauren Burnham, a 25-year-old technology salesperson from Dallas, TX; and Krystal Nielson, a 30-year-old fitness coach from San Diego, CA.

The Date Card read, "It's all about the ring," so the girls assumed it was going to be boxing or wrestling. Jacqueline was a little nervous about the date, admitting that she's not athletic at all.

For the date, the ladies had to come up with their own wrestling personalities, dress in imaginative costume and makeup, and compete in a tournament against one another called the Gorgeous Ladies of the Bachelor, or "GLOB."

But first, Arie wrestled Kenny "Pretty Boy Pit Bull" King from Rachel Lindsay's season of The Bachelorette and won.

The bachelorettes also received guidance and some performance secrets from two veterans of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (GLOW) -- Ursula "Babe the Farmer's Daughter" Hayden and Angelina "Little Egypt" Altishin.

Arie wanted to find a woman who could have fun in any situation, so although wrestling was out of everyone's comfort zones, he wanted to see the women let loose and give it a try.

However, Tia and Bibiana found Ursula and Angelina to be overly aggressive in their teaching style during the rehearsal.

In fact, the women made Tia cry and sit off on the sidelines for a while. Not only did the GLOW women make fun of Bibiana's name -- suggesting her mother didn't know how to spell when she named the bachelorette -- but they pulled Tia's ponytail and said her attempt at acting in the ring was "sad."

Bekah, on the other hand, acknowledged that Ursula and Angelina were just trying to intimidate everyone because it's part of the show, as wrestling is very theatrical and over-the-top. Tia and Bibiana did, however, put their emotions aside and participate in the date after all.

"I'm glad I didn't quit. It was sort of a rush and I actually kind of liked it," Tia admitted to the cameras.

Some of the costumes were hilarious. Maquel, for example, played a lunch lady, and Krystal dressed as a cougar.

At the afterparty that night, Krystal stole Arie away first for a conversation, which didn't really surprise the other women at this point in the game. Krystal explained to Arie that she didn't want to get lost in the crowd and asked whether he'd prefer she be aggressive or laid back and give him time with the other women.

Arie told Krystal to do whatever felt right, and he assured her that there was no problem with pulling him aside from time to time.

Meanwhile, Bibiana decided she should voice her concerns about Krystal with Arie, especially since her previous heated argument with Krystal seemed to get them nowhere. Bibiana therefore told the Bachelor about all the tension, and Arie hoped she could concentrate on the two of them and not all the drama in the house.

Krystal then bragged to the group about how she had a wonderful experience with Arie.

As for Tia, Arie had expected her "to rock this date," so he was surprised when she had broken down into tears. Tia confessed it was awful to have felt so weak and vulnerable, but part of that stemmed from the fact her feelings for Arie were real and growing stronger by the day.

Arie told Tia that he enjoyed comforting her and being there for her, because it allowed him to feel like a man. Tia couldn't believe how great Arie is as a person and partner.

Bekah then spoke to Arie and revealed her longest relationship was almost three years, but he broke up with her. Bekah explained they were headed in different directions, but once her ex called it quits on the relationship, she realized the split was actually best for her.

Bekah had intense chemistry with Arie and said she hadn't felt that way with a man in a long time. Bekah noted, "Nothing can spoil my sunshine right now."

Arie was hitting it off with multiple women, but Krystal told the cameras all the girls were "living in a false reality" because she had the strongest relationship with Arie in the house by far. However, Arie chose to give the group-date rose to Bekah, saying that she was outstanding on the group date and also amazing during their alone time together.

Krystal was confused about Bekah receiving the rose when taking into account the strong foundation she had built with Arie. Krystal later told Marikh that she's sure she's going to end up with Arie and they're just going through the motions to get to that point.

The next day, Lauren S. embarked on her one-on-one date with Arie after receiving a Date Card that read, "You had me at Merlot." She was really nervous about the date but looked forward to getting away and getting to know Arie better.

Arie took Lauren to Hall Winery in Napa via private jet. He found her to be beautiful and mature, and he was also impressed by her job.

The setting for the date was peaceful and romantic. Lauren had previously peaked Arie's interest, but he was hoping she could open up to him more. They also hadn't spent much time together so far.

Lauren said she felt really comfortable with Arie and knew they were on the same page about what they wanted in life, but she still had her guard up. Lauren, who's been single for a while, confessed that she had forgotten how to get caught up in the moment.

Lauren thought Arie was so cute and handsome, but she found herself really nervous about the situation. She figured dinner that night was going to make or break their relationship, and she was right.

Lauren found herself constantly changing the subject during dinner that night. As she spoke about one topic, she would transition into something completely different -- from talking about her career to her mother. Lauren told the cameras she was "all over the place" and admitted that if she had been in Arie's shoes, she wouldn't give out the rose.

Lauren acknowledged her date "was a wreck" and she had trouble being herself around Arie. Although she and Arie both really wanted the romance to work, it became clear that wasn't going to happen. Arie told Lauren that since she has such a great life at home, he didn't want to keep her away from her family and waste her time.

Arie thought Lauren had a good heart, but the connection wasn't there and Lauren didn't let herself go and let him in. A spark was ultimately missing between them.

"It was difficult to say goodbye, but it was necessary because it brings me closer to what I'm actually here for, and that's to find my one person," Arie said.

The week's last date was a group date for Annaliese; Becca Kufrin, a 27-year-old publicist from Minneapolis, MN; Chelsea Roy, a 29-year-old real estate executive assistant from Portland, ME; Caroline Lunny, a 26-year-old realtor from Ft. Lauderdale, FL; Jenna Cooper, a 28-year-old social media manager from Raleigh, NC; Ashley Luebke, a 25-year-old real estate agent from West Palm Beach, FL; and Brittany Taylor, a 30-year-old tech recruiter from Austin, TX.

The Date Card read, "Love is Ruff," and so the girls knew dogs would be involved.

The bachelorettes were required to perform with a group of lovable canines called "The Dynamo Dogs," trained by Gayle Mirabella, in front of a live audience. The act was called "Arie's Amazing Acrodogs."

Chris Harrison and comic actor Fred Willard from Modern Family and Best in Show provided funny commentary for the show that took place in a Los Angeles park, and the women also got to meet Arie's adorable dog, Bastian, on the date.

Annaliese initially had a tough time on the date because she had "a traumatic experience" with dogs when she was younger. Annaliese apparently almost lost her eye as a young girl when a senior dog bit her.

The dogs didn't really listen to any of the women, but Arie seemed to have a good time watching everything unfold.

At the afterparty, Arie asked Chelsea to talk first. Chelsea told Arie that she loves to the woman she has become, as she's grown a lot over the last few years and the timing couldn't be more perfect for her to settle down with a man. Arie considered Chelsea an incredible human being.

But Annaliese was starting to feel behind the pack, like she needed to catch up. During her time with him, she noticed Arie was a little off, especially in his body language. She also felt discouraged because he didn't try to kiss her.

When Becca got her time with Arie, however, their connection lit up the screen. Arie found Becca to be so smart and extremely genuine, and he wanted to learn everything he could about her.

Becca felt happy, content and felt super confident with Arie, and she admitted that she was falling for him.

Although Arie's time with Becca seemed great, the Bachelor chose to give the group-date rose to Chelsea.

The episode then moved into the cocktail party preceding the Rose Ceremony. Bibiana was desperate for privacy with Arie, so she set up a little daybed outside with a telescope so the pair could cuddle and look at the stars without any distractions.

But just as Bibiana was excited to show Arie her little romantic setup, Arie and Lauren B. stumbled upon it first. Bibiana came outside and saw the couple taking advantage of her setup, so she grew very discouraged and disheartened. When Bibiana tried to interrupt them, Arie also asked for five more minutes with Lauren.

One by one, more girls utilized Bibiana's special date with Arie, such as Bekah.

Arie told Bekah that he wanted to spend more time with people he saw genuine potential with, but he was guarding his heart from her. Bekah said he was probably so attracted to her because he didn't need her, and he wasn't used to that.

Bekah elaborated how she didn't need Arie to complete her, and he found her to be insightful and intelligent.

Arie considered Bekah "risky" and "unexpected," and he said he was becoming "more and more attracted to her every day."

Lauren B. then finally got her first kiss with Arie, which made Annaliese feel even more insecure. Annaliese didn't think Arie was giving her a fair chance, especially since he was setting up little romantic dates for particular women, like Tia. Arie surprised Tia with some hay stacks and moonshine to make her feel at home.

Arie loves a good country girl, and Tia made him laugh. She was developing really strong feelings for him.

But Annaliese was still looking for a physical connection, some chemistry that would be a game changer. She therefore she stole Arie away and admitted she was frustrated and anxious. Annaliese heard that the women needed to go in for a kiss first, so when she was ready to give it a try, Arie said they just weren't there yet.

Annaliese was hurt by the rejection, and then a montage played of Arie making out with multiple women -- including Jenna and Kendall.

Chelsea advised Annaliese to be assertive and seek out some answers, so the bachelorette did just that. When she asked Arie if there was potential for them to have a real relationship, Arie sent her home.

"I really don't feel like there could be a future with us... At the end of all this, I don't see it with you," Arie confessed.

Following Annaliese's exit, the Rose Ceremony commenced. Arie handed out roses to Caroline, Kendall, Ashley, Lauren, Brittany, Becca, Seinne, Krystal, Tia, Maquel, Jenna, Jacqueline and Marikh. Arie therefore eliminated Bibiana.
