"I want babies soon," Lauren told Us on Monday.

Lauren, who is set to marry Arie on January 12, 2019, revealed a similar notion in one of Arie's Instagram Stories back in July when she wrote, "Can we have babies yet?"

The salesperson and 37-year-old race car driver got engaged during The Bachelor: After the Final Rose special in March after Arie ended his engagement to the actual winner of Season 22, Becca Kufrin.

Once Lauren and Arie settled into their home in Phoenix, AZ, after she moved from Virginia, they began planning their wedding that will take place at the Haiku Mill in Maui, a historical venue reportedly famed for its lush gardens and hanging vines.

"It's not your typical beach wedding," Arie explained to the magazine. "It's an old sugar mill so it has a lot of history and a lot of greenery. It's going to be intimate and very classy."

Lauren disclosed she will wear a gown by designer Hayley Paige, while Arie will wait for Lauren at the end of the aisle in a tuxedo.

"We're still working on the finishing touches," Lauren noted of the details.

As for their Arizona home, Lauren gushed it's "absolutely beautiful" and boasts "a modern-rustic farmhouse feel."

"We took our time furnishing it to both our tastes and I think it's awesome," added Arie, who previously lived in Scottsdale. "She moved to Arizona and I felt like we needed a place of our own. It's really cool."

Speaking of "cool," Lauren admitted she's excited for the upcoming months in Arizona weather-wise because they'll be able to explore local hiking trails and dine outside with Arie.

"It's finally starting to cool down," Lauren said. "It's been so hot here in the summer, so it's hard to be outside at all. But the winter is going to be perfect."

Shortly after Arie proposed marriage to Becca on The Bachelor, he began having second thoughts because he said his heart still belonged to his runner-up, Lauren. Arie therefore broke up with Becca in January and reunited with Lauren days later.

Becca, however, went on to star on The Bachelorette's fourteenth season, and she ultimately got engaged to her current fiance, Garrett Yrigoyen.
