The Bachelor alum Susie Evans has admitted Justin Glaze is the reason why they're not dating, and the besties have also revealed if they've ever hooked up.

Susie and The Bachelorette alum were playfully grilled about their relationship status during the December 14 episode of the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast co-hosted by Bachelor in Paradise couple Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt.

In attempt to get to the bottom of romance rumors once and for all, Joe asked Susie and Justin if they're dating.

Susie responded, "Justin wishes!"

And Justin quipped, "She loves to say that."

Serena, who clearly got the sense Susie and Justin have some feelings for each other, therefore asked how they'd handle one of them beginning to seriously date someone else.

"We actually do talk about that," Susie said.

And Justin confirmed, "It's come up."

Serena called Susie and Justin each other's "substitute partner," and Justin replied, "Right."

When asked if they've ever hooked up before, Susie quickly replied, "No."

Joe said he wasn't sure if he believed the besties, and then Justin quipped, "Susie's thought about it."

Susie agreed and chimed in with a bit of sarcasm in her voice, "I've dreamt of it. No. Sometimes! I mean, I've thought about it! I'm not going to say I haven't thought about it! I've looked at his lips before, like, yeah!"

Serena and Joe demanded to know what was stopping Susie and Justin from hooking up and being together as a result.

"Honestly, it's Justin," Susie admitted.

"Okay, I'll tell the truth," Justin began, before getting candid about why he and Susie aren't a couple.

"So, it's a huge risk, right? And we have had this conversation. We are such good friends, and I love and appreciate Susie so much in my life that she's not just a casual hookup or whatever."

The Bachelorette 17 alum elaborated, "If we were to cross that line, it's like, there's got to be longevity to it."

"The scary thought is," Justin went on to share, "if that were to happen and things were to not go as planned, we don't want to lose that foundation and friendship and not have that person in each other's lives. That's the risk."

But since Susie and Justin have only known each other for a year, Joe admitted, "I feel like you can risk that. You can do it [for a potential relationship]."

Serena proceeded to plant a seed in Justin's mind that an amazing man could sweep Susie off her feet.

"But he won't be as funny as me!" Justin boasted.

Serena asked, on a serious note, if Justin would regret not having "tried" with Susie in a man were to steal her away.

"If you don't lock her down, somebody is going to lock her down. She's a catch," Serena said.

Joe said this story sounded very similar to what Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon had gone through. After years of friendship -- and Ashley pining for Jared in an unrequited love scenario, often on Bachelor in Paradise -- they are now happily married with one child.

"They've told us!" Justin said.

"We just did their podcast, and [Ashley] was saying that this is literally like their story," Susie said.

"I will say, I joke that it's just Justin, but we've talked about this stuff. And if we cross the boundary -- right now, Justin can come to my wedding and I can go to his. I think we can."

The "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast producers were actually holding up a sign in the background that read, "Just make out" while Susie and Justin were talking.

"It would be weird for us," Susie said.

"Would it?" Justin asked.

"Do you want to kiss me?" Susie asked.

"We could find out," Justin replied.

Suddenly, it seemed Susie and Justin were seriously considering it right then and there -- but it didn't happen.

As for whether they'd be up for looking for love on Bachelor in Paradise, Justin said he'd never consider going back.

Susie, for her part, said she feels "older" than the show's typical contestants, adding, "I don't feel like I would've found my person there, so I am confident in my decision not to go."

In November, Susie joked during an Instagram Q&A session how she was "trying" to move out of the friend zone with Justin after a summer romance had fizzled out.

During a September Q&A session via Instagram Stories, a fan asked Susie to confirm if she and Justin were roommates.

The Bachelor 26 alum replied, "We are not, but this is a common misconception. People think we were/are roommates, but that's never been the case, though we did move to L.A. around the same time."

Susie went on to gush of her bestie, "Of course I knew Justin was cool and all, but I am kind of shocked at how genuine of a person he is and how he's been such an intentional/genuine friend for me these past few months."

Susie and Justin's other best friend, Andrew Spencer, went Instagram official with his new girlfriend, Beca Michie, in early September.

Prior to Andrew publicly unveiling his new relationship, he and Susie were also asked about their relationship status during separate episodes of "The Viall Files" podcast hosted by Season 21 The Bachelor star Nick Viall.

When asked directly if she was dating Andrew, Susie simply replied "no" during the August 1 episode of "The Viall Files" podcast.

And Andrew -- who had accompanied Susie to the Barbie movie premiere -- was also straight up asked if he was dating Susie during the podcast's July 25 episode.

"No, absolutely not. No," Andrew insisted.

Nick joked of Andrew's quick answer, "You don't have to sound like you're disgusted at the idea! You were like, 'Eww, gross, yuck, Susie!'"

Andrew therefore clarified, "That's what we decided we were going to do. We're just going to completely deny it and deny it hard."

Nick asked Andrew as a result, "Are you milking [Susie videos] for clicks?"

"No. Well no, sort of, yeah," Andrew responded. "It's funny! If people get the humor, then great!"

Andrew added at the time, "Susie is the goofiest person you'll ever meet. I think she's the better version -- but girl version -- of me, where she doesn't really overthink the things that she does. She's just like, 'Hey, I'm going to do it.' And I think that's the coolest thing."

The podcast's co-hosts joked about how it looked like Susie was The Bachelorette star and she was trying to decide whether to give Andrew or Justin her final rose.

"We're basically on an ongoing two-on-one date right now," Andrew confirmed with a laugh.

"[Justin] did his video with her the other day on a Target run, and I don't know how I felt about it. But I try to support them, [even though] I wanted to be a part of the video."

Justin finished as the runner-up on Katie Thurston's The Bachelorette season before pursuing love with Eliza Isichei on Bachelor in Paradise's eighth season last summer. But Eliza chose Rodney Mathews over Justin, which she came to realize was a mistake. Once she tried to win Justin back, he lost interest in their romance.

Susie won Clayton's heart on The Bachelor 26, which aired in early 2022, over Gabby Windey and Rachel Recchia, who both went on to co-star on The Bachelorette's 19th season.

But Susie left the show during Fantasy Suites because Clayton had slept with, and also professed his love to, the other two women. Even though Clayton considered Susie to be a "once-in-a-lifetime woman," she was convinced on the show that The Bachelor star wasn't her "person."

However, Clayton and Susie began communicating after filming ended in late 2021 and sparked up a romance in the real world. They publicly announced their relationship in March 2022 on The Bachelor: After the Final Rose.

Susie and Clayton, however, quickly discovered they weren't compatible, and so they called it quits in September 2022. However, they've managed to stay friends with some healthy boundaries in place.
