"We're here. We're queer. Happy new year," Parvati, 41, captioned four photo booth pictures with Mae via Instagram on Saturday, December 30.

The comedian also shared a video of Parvati winking for the camera when they enjoyed a date at the beach. Parvati, in turn, reposted the video to her own Instagram account.

Many other Survivor alums commented on the announcement and expressed their support and congratulations.

Carson Garrett wrote, "Love yall," and Michele Fitzgerald commented, "Yay!! So happy for you."

Eliza Orlins gushed, "So happy for you two! You look so happy!"

And Survivor Season 29 winner Natalie Anderson commented, "Get it girl!!!!!!! Here for you being queer!"

Parvati initially teased her new romance with Mae in November 2023.

"Some people come into your life at the perfect and most unexpected time. They see you, they love you right where you are, they make you laugh so hard you cry. They celebrate your wins and lift you up," Parvati wrote, sharing pictures with Mae, Suzanne Muchin and Ariel Stern.

"They do art projects with your kids and play hide and seek after dinner. When you're sequestered in an airport hotel alone on your birthday, they throw a big surprise party for you when you're home. They remind you that even when it's hard, life can be a really beautiful journey."

Parvati, a four-time Survivor castaway and one-time winner, was previously married to fellow Survivor alum John Fincher.

Parvati and John tied the knot in July 2017 after getting engaged in January of that year following about three years of dating. They welcomed a daughter Ama together.

Parvati filed for divorce from John, a former Survivor: Samoa castaway, on August 24, 2021. She cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their split.

Parvati, however, listed May 15, 2021 as the pair's date of separation in the court documents.

In late August of that year, Parvati had requested a restraining order to keep John at least 100 yards away from her and Ama at all times.

Parvati reportedly asked at the time that John not be able to contact her "in any way" or "harass, attack, strike, threaten, assault" her.

Parvati had also requested John attend anger-management classes for his alleged aggressive behavior.

A judge later granted Parvati's request for a temporary restraining order, which was either going to expire or be extended on September 20 at the court hearing.

At the September hearing, Parvati's restraining order against John was dismissed.

According to court records from the hearing obtained by Us Weekly, "all temporary restraining orders, if any, are dissolved" due to "lack of prosecution."

"Ms. Shallow's false allegations of domestic violence were truly unfortunate," John's attorney, Joy Dracup Stanley, told Us in a statement at the time.

"Temporary Domestic Violence Restraining Orders are easy to obtain and unfortunately are the most abused legal tactic to gain an advantage in custody -- often done at the commencement of a divorce. Fortunately, they often backfire on the claimant. Mr. Fincher categorically denies all allegations and the dismissal speaks for itself. He has shared custody of their 3-year-old child."

Parvati and John now have joint legal and physical custody of their daughter.

Parvati initially auditioned to compete on The Amazing Race, and although she didn't make the cut for a season, CBS producers reportedly remembered her and then cast her on Survivor: Cook Islands.

After placing sixth on Survivor: Cook Islands, Parvati went on to win Survivor: Micronesia -- Fans vs. Favorites, which aired in 2008.

She later competed on Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains and finished as the runner-up.

Parvati once again returned to compete on the show's 40th season, Survivor: Winners at War.

On Winners at War, an All-Stars season of veteran players, Parvati was voted out in Episode 6, becoming the seventh person sent to the Edge of Extinction from the season.

She failed to win a spot back in the game on Day 35 and subsequently served as a member of the jury.

For John's part, he appeared on Survivor: Samoa, which aired in 2009, and was the twelfth person voted out of the game.
