"Thank you!" the bubbly blonde shouted after So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley announced her victory at the conclusion of the two-hour broadcast.

Froderman, an 18-year-old contemporary jazz dancer from Phoenix, AZ, won So You Think You Can Dance's seventh-season title based on home viewer votes cast after Wednesday night's final performance show.

As the season's champion, she will receive a $250,000 cash prize, a cover appearance on Dance Spirit magazine, and a role in Gatorade's G Series advertising campaign this fall.

Froderman bested fellow Top 3 finalists Kent Boyd and Robert Roldan to win the competition.  She had been So You Think You Can Dance's sole remaining female finalist since Ashley Galvan was eliminated following an injury four weeks ago.

Each of the three finalists participated in four duet dances during Wednesday night's final performance show -- two routines in which they were paired with one of their fellow finalists and two more routines in which they performed with one of the season's all-star dancers.

Boyd, an 18-year-old contemporary jazz dancer who currently resides in Wapakoneta, OH, finished as So You Think You Can Dance's seventh-season runner-up, while Roldan, a 19-year-old contemporary dancer from Thousand Oaks, CA, finished third.

"I just want to say thank you for everyone who picked up a telephone for me, and thank you to every contestant that I got to share the stage with," Roldan said after Deeley revealed his third-place finish.  "This journey has been such an amazing thing for me and it's really blessed me.  Thank you, very much."

In addition to a series of "judges' favorites" performances in which the season's finalists and all-star dancers performed encores of some of the season's most memorable routines, the finale broadcast also featured performances by indie rock duo Black Gold, dance crew Quest Crew, British So You Think You Can Dance winner Charlie Bruce, 7-year-old tap dancer Luke Spring, tap-dancing siblings the Manzari Brothers, and a hip-hop duet by all-star Stephen "tWitch" Boss and newly-departed American Idol judge Ellen DeGeneres.

"As a joke, I said this would be fun to do," the comedian and daytime talk show host said.
