Married at First Sight star Olivia Cornu doesn't believe her husband Brett Lindsey knows what he wants and so she's questioning why he ever signed up for Season 11 of the show to begin with.

Olivia, a 30-year-old nurse practitioner from Bossier City, LA, and Brett, a 35-year-old with a career in information technology from Gretna, LA, were matched by Married at First Sight experts Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Dr. Viviana Coles and Pastor Calvin Roberson to wed on Season 11 of the Lifetime reality series.

During Wednesday night's episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, Olivia watched back a Season 11 clip in which she and Brett attempted to do an exercise created by the show's experts.

The couple was required to ask each other questions about love, and Olivia asked her husband in the clip, "How are you going to actively fall in love in this relationship?"

"Obviously sexy underwear dances, I mean, that's a given -- and reminding you about flossing," Brett replied.

When Olivia asked Brett to answer "for real," he went on to say, "Fireworks displays and sick jumps with my BMX bike."

On Unfiltered, host Jamie Otis, who starred on Season 1 of Married at First Sight, asked Olivia why she thinks Brett answers questions so sarcastically all the time.

"I just feel like he doesn't really know exactly what he wants," Olivia replied, "and it's pretty evident when we sit down and try and do these exercises and have these serious moments that he doesn't take them very serious."

"And it makes me question, like, why did he do [the show]?" Olivia admitted.

Pastor Cal joined Olivia on the Unfiltered broadcast and was asked for his thoughts on Brett's sarcastic answers during the serious Married at First Sight exercise.

"It's ridiculous," Pastor Cal said.

"When people use sarcasm, it's a diversion to keep you from seeing who they really are. Sarcasm is fake intelligence, it's ridiculous and it is incredibly frustrating."

Olivia revealed Brett's sarcasm really got to her in their marriage because there's a time and place for joking around. Olivia said she found Brett's constant need to be sarcastic "very annoying and frustrating."

Pastor Cal noted, "Like Olivia, that frustrates the absolute bleep out of me."

"You can say a cuss word, Pastor Cal," Olivia said with a laugh.

Fellow Married at First Sight couple Amelia Fatsi and Bennett Kirschner provided a great example for how the exercise about love should have been completed.

Bennett shared with his wife that his personal definition of love is feeling at ease but passionate as well as comfort in communicating. Bennett added that he'd like to have a partner who is understanding and receptive and also reciprocates his feelings.

"It was really refreshing to watch that conversation and just see that not everyone had the struggles that I had with Brett," Olivia said on Unfiltered.

"It was really nice to see that [Amelia and Bennett] were going into this full force and expecting and hoping for love for one another."

On the recent Married at First Sight episode when Brett ignored or deflected Olivia's questions, Olivia vented to the cameras how she couldn't stand Brett's behavior.

"Talking with Brett about love is exhausting. I feel like there's a time and a place for sarcasm, but being sarcastic all the time makes it very hard for me to understand what his views on love are," Olivia explained in a confessional.

"Sometimes I feel like I'm pulling teeth and just trying to get him to express himself and let me know how he feels."

Brett's family warned Olivia on her wedding day that Brett is extremely sarcastic and she would fit in great with their family if she could come to understand and appreciate Brett's humor.

Olivia's Unfiltered appearance wasn't the first time she's expressed skepticism over Brett's intentions and motive for marrying a stranger on the show.

During an early August episode of Unfiltered, Olivia watched footage of Brett trying to flirt with Henry Rodriguez's friend Kristin and get to know her at the men's bachelor party.

"It looks a lot worse than what I was imagining," Olivia said of the scene. "And I'm definitely questioning his intentions at this point."

But Brett, who claims he dated around 45 women prior to signing up for MAFS, previously insisted on Unfiltered his flirtatious actions at his bachelor party were insignificant.

"You know, the fact that I drank a bit and flirted at my bachelor party -- if that's the worst thing I've done, I'm a pretty good person," Brett told Jamie.

He added at the time, "I didn't do anything wrong... If you can't have fun at your bachelor party, there's something wrong with you, not me."

Olivia admitted nearly two weeks into the Married at First Sight experiment that she wasn't feeling butterflies for her husband and didn't understand why the experts had matched them.

The main issue seemed to be that Brett enjoys staying at his home with his cats and saving money for his home and retirement while Olivia wants to go on adventures and participate in activities such as sporting events or dining out.

Olivia and Brett therefore attempted to bond through inexpensive activities such as an airboat ride in the Louisiana swamp and rock climbing, but Olivia's newfound marriage optimism faltered when Brett appeared bored and disinterested at a "Trivia Night" with her pals.

"The fact Brett's not trying makes me feel like he doesn't care," Olivia griped, adding that Brett wasn't trying to connect or get along with her friends.

In addition to Olivia, Brett, Amelia, Bennett, and Henry, Married at First Sight's eleventh season also stars Woody Randall, Amani, Christina, Miles Williams, and Karen Landry.

Married at First Sight currently airs on Wednesday nights at 8PM ET/PT on Lifetime.
