Married at First Sight star Kate Sisk admits she would have preferred the tables were turned in her marriage so that she was the one who was not attracted to her husband, Luke Cuccurullo.

During a Tuesday appearance on Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, Kate discussed with host Jamie Otis, expert Pastor Calvin Roberson and her Married at First Sight co-star Kristine Killingsworth how difficult it was to deal with the fact she's not Luke's physical type.

"I guess I kind of felt, like, I don't know, not ashamed, but maybe in a way," Kate confessed after watching a Married at First Sight clip in which she vented to the other women participating in this season's extreme experiment about the problem.

"It just sucks that, you know, I'm the unattractive one in the relationship," she added with a defeated laugh. "Well, that he's not attracted to me in the relationship."

Not only did Luke admit to his wife that he was not attracted to her on Season 8 of Married at First Sight, but he also told Kate after sharing their first kiss on their honeymoon in Costa Rica he felt "repulsed" and "dead inside."

"Would you prefer that you weren't attracted to him instead of the other way around?" Jamie asked Kate.

"I know it sounds weird, but yes, I would prefer if I wasn't attracted to him because I feel like I have a lot of confidence that if I wasn't attracted to him, I could grow to be attracted to him," Kate explained.

"I know I can do that, so I would have preferred if, at first, it was the other way around."

Kristine then chimed in and offered her two cents on the subject.

"It kind of just makes you a jerk to tell her that you're not attracted," said Kristine, who tied the knot with Keith Dewar on the Lifetime series. "You know what I mean?"

Jamie then played devil's advocate and asked Pastor Cal what Luke should do in this situation going forward given a spark is missing in his arranged marriage.

"He has to do some soul searching to find out exactly what he wants," Pastor Cal replied.

"Does he even want to be here? Does he want to be married? Is he really looking for love or is there something in him that is unavailable to really giving his heart to somebody."

Hopefully Luke will answer those questions in the coming weeks on Married at First Sight, which airs Tuesday nights at 9PM ET/PT on Lifetime.

In addition to Kate, Luke, Kristine and Keith, Married at First Sight's current season also stars Jasmine McGriff and Will Guess as well as AJ Vollmoeller and Stephanie Sersen.
