Married at First Sight star Jonathan Francetic and former show expert Dr. Jessica Griffin have already begun making some wedding-planning decisions.

Jonathan, who went public with his relationship with Jessica in August 2018 and proposed marriage earlier this month at the Grand Canyon National Park in Arizona, took to Instagram on Sunday to drop some details about his upcoming wedding to Jessica.

According to Jonathan, the couple has narrowed their wedding venue to a vineyard in either the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York or the Eastern Townships region of the Canadian province of Quebec.

"So! @dr.jessicagriffin and I have come to a decision -- because we go to wineries on almost every trip, we should have the wedding at a vineyard," he wrote.

"Now with that (not really) narrowing it down, we are thinking either the #easterntownshipsquebec or #fingerlakeswine region. Any suggestions??? #weddingplanning"

The couple -- who regularly embark on roadtrips to various parts of New England, New York, and Canada that are within reasonable driving distance of Massachusetts, where they live -- may be leaning towards Quebec's Eastern Townships region.

Last week, Jessica revealed she and Jonathan already have plans to revisit the Canadian area in a couple of months.

Jessica shared the news while posting a couple of old photos from a trip the couple took to the romantic region for her birthday last summer.

"#tbt to an incredible birthday trip designed by this guy -- the most romantic road trip I have ever been on to the Eastern Townships in Canada -- stayed at @aubergedesappalaches -- weekend full of hiking, paddle boarding, wine tastings and most importantly, entirely off the grid and unplugged (our travel rule) except to take photos," Jessica captioned a couple selfies of the pair.

"He surprised me with the whole thing and told me to just bring a passport. We are headed back there in two months! Traveling with someone you love strengthens your connection and attachment."

Jessica concluded, "Do it as often as you can -- even for a short weekend if that's all you can swing. And, always keep a planned trip on deck so you have something to look forward to and can plan together. Trips over Louboutins people! #makingmemories #romantictravel #travelgram #easterntownships."

Quebec's Eastern Townships are located in the southeast portion of the Canadian province and border the U.S. states of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.

Although the tourist region was originally part of New France, France ceded it to Britain in 1763 after the French and Indian War and it was then settled by British loyalists who left New York and New England after the American Revolution.

The area is predominantly French-speaking today, however the influence of the British loyalists is still reflected in the architecture of older buildings and the names of various towns.

Jessica, 41, met Jonathan, 30, on Season 6 of Married at First Sight, on which Jonathan wed a total stranger, Molly Duff, and Jessica served as one of the show's matchmakers and experts on relationships.

The season began filming in late Summer 2017 and aired its finale in April 2018.

After Jonathan and Molly got a divorce, he and Jessica sparked up a romance and ultimately faced backlash and scrutiny because Jessica had served as a marriage counselor or therapist to Jonathan and his then-wife Molly.

Critics accused Jonathan and the doctor of engaging in an "inappropriate" romance that reflected poorly on Jessica's profession.

Jessica, however, has insisted she did not have an actual client/therapist or doctor/patient relationship with Jonathan at any point during production and outside companies are hired to conduct the psychological evaluations of Married at First Sight's cast members.

She and her new fiance have defended their relationship repeatedly.

Jonathan and Jessica got engaged shortly after People reported Jessica is leaving her role as a relationship expert on Married at First Sight after appearing on the Lifetime reality series for three seasons.

Lifetime has since confirmed Jessica is being replaced by Dr. Viviana Coles, a psychotherapist, for Season 9 of Married at First Sight.

The new Married at First Sight season was filmed in Charlotte, NC and will premiere with a special two-hour episode on Wednesday, June 12 at 9PM ET/PT.
