Married at First Sight star Jasmine Secrest has revealed she knows the woman Airris Williams was dating and sleeping with only two weeks before their wedding.

When Married at First Sight experts Dr. Pepper Schwartz and Pastor Calvin Roberson matched Airris and Jasmine to wed on the show's sixteenth season, Airris, dubbed "Reformed and Ready for Love" by Lifetime, was romantically involved with another woman.

In fact, Airris previously revealed he had sex with this mystery woman the night before he was informed about his engagement.

Airris therefore broke up with the girl after dating her for about five weeks, and he admitted during a January episode of Married at First Sight: Afterparty that she took the news "not too well."

During Wednesday night's Afterparty broadcast, Jasmine dropped the following bombshell: "I knew her."

Jasmine said the conversation about Airris' most recent ex-girlfriend explains why she had given the impression on the latest episode her marriage was "complicated" and it wasn't smooth sailing by the time the couple had moved into their new Nashville apartment together.

"Me and Airris were having conversations and then, you know, we took our phones out and followed each other on Instagram," Jasmine shared.

"So we had a few mutual friends on Instagram. And I was like, 'Okay, cool. How do you know him?' And he [answered]. And then I was like, 'How do you know her?' And he was like, 'That's our mutual friend?'"

Jasmine said she asked her husband again how he knew this woman.

"He was like, 'I might've slept with her two weeks ago,'" Jasmine revealed.

Afterparty host Keshia Knight Pulliam pointed out how Jasmine and Airris had already been on their honeymoon for a week at that point.

"[He slept with her] two weeks before we got married," Jasmine clarified. "Two weeks before we got married, they were dating."

Jasmine confirmed the conversation definitely got "awkward" and she "walked out" on Airris.

"I gave him the silent treatment for a little bit, just to kind of process," Jasmine shared.

"He told me that he told her about what he was going through and that they couldn't date anymore."

Even though Airris dumped this woman before his wedding to a stranger, Jasmine was still rubbed the wrong way, especially because he was clearly seeing someone during the matchmaking process.

"The whole process... starts before the two weeks of getting married. I mean, I had been preparing to be a wife for years, and the fact [he did that] was just a little red flag for me, that you're still dating and living your bachelor lifestyle," Jasmine vented.

During his January appearance on Afterparty, Airris explained why he thought it was okay to have a woman in his life right up until his official Married at First Sight casting.

"My mindset was, 'I'm single until I'm not.' Honestly, like, I knew there was a [chance] where I may not get selected [for the show]," Airris shared.

"If I was to meet someone leading up to [the show], should I just not entertain it and not explore that?"

Airris apparently didn't want to shut down an opportunity with a woman that could have worked out for him in the long run had he not been cast on Married at First Sight.

When Airris discovered Dr. Pepper Schwartz and Pastor Calvin Roberson had found him a match and he'd be tying the knot on Married at First Sight, Airris said he gently broke the news to his lover from the previous evening "face to face."

"It wasn't a call. I had some type of dignity and some type of respect," Airris claimed.

"It was tough. I mean, we had only been hanging out maybe for, like, a little over a month -- about five weeks."

While the woman may have thought her romance with Airris was thriving and blossoming, it wasn't difficult for the Nashville-based bachelor to cut ties.

"It wasn't long enough to be super serious, but it was long enough to have some type of feelings there. So I wanted to just [be transparent]," Airris reasoned.

While the woman was upset about the breakup, Airris said she never blocked his phone number or social-media accounts.

Airris has found himself in a sticky situation on Married at First Sight's sixteenth season.

The latest episode featured Airris telling Jasmine that he'd rate their marriage a 7 on a scale from 1-10, although he had previously told his boys that he'd only rate his relationship "a 4 or 5" due to his lack of attraction towards his wife.

On Day 8 of marriage, Airris clarified to a Diary Cam how he found himself attracted to Jasmine but they weren't on the same level, suggesting that Jasmine was really into him.

"Right now, I feel more of a friendly vibe, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. If I had an accident tomorrow, I have 100 percent confidence you'd be right there in the hospital bed," Airris explained to his wife.

"I've already figured that out in one week. So I feel like the other stuff, for me, I just need time to get there. I'm just hoping... you'll continue to [have patience]."

Jasmine then vented in a confessional about how she's not trying to be anybody's friend.

"I'm trying to be a wife out here in these streets! So, I guess I just didn't want to hear the 'friend' word from my husband," Jasmine complained.

Once the pair moved in together, Jasmine also discovered her husband is "bossy," as he was making "executive decisions" without hearing her opinion or input.

Jasmine and Airris both maintained a positive attitude and mindset about living together, but so far, their arrangement is off to a rocky start on the show.

Jasmine was also still concerned about the fact Airris had never been in love before. Jasmine also wasn't aware Airris had only been "90 percent" faithful in his only long-term relationship prior to signing up for Married at First Sight.
