Married at First Sight featured Amber Martorana attempting to overcome a large insecurity and Tristan Thompson admitting he can't fall in love with Mia Bally until they rebuild trust during Tuesday night's Season 7 broadcast on Lifetime.

The three Dallas-based couples who tied the knot at first sight on Season 7 were Amber, a 36-year-old division order analyst, and Dave Flaherty, a 37-year-old senior portfolio manager; Bobby Dodd, a 27-year-old project manager, and Danielle Bergman, a 30-year-old account executive; and Mia, a 29-year-old airline recruiter; and Tristan, a 29-year-old former collegiate and semi-pro basketball player who recently started a tutoring center business.

They were matched by the following Married at First Sight experts: Psychologist Dr. Jessica Griffin, sociologist Dr. Pepper Schwartz, and marriage counselor Pastor Calvin Roberson.

The Married at First Sight broadcast began with Mia and Tristan waking up next to each other after spending their first night as a couple in Tristan's place.

"Mia and I have been saying, 'I love you,' but I am not in love with her. I hope to get to that point, but I'm just not there yet," Tristan told the cameras.

Mia felt Tristan was showing her "unconditional love" and said they were building a very comfortable home together.

But Dave and Amber were waking up following a bit of an uncomfortable conversation. Amber had asked Dave whom his celebrity crush is, and he replied, "Jessica Biel."

Amber apparently became defensive and insecure at the thought she does not look anything like the actress and Dave is attracted to tall brunettes.

Dave said the conversation "spiraled out of control" because it was a silly topic of discussion to begin with, especially since he was definitely sexually attracted to his wife.

Amber felt desired, so she didn't even really understand why this was such an issue for her and she couldn't get this out of her head.

During a sit-down chat with Dr. Pepper, Dave told Amber that he was happy with her and wanted to continue down this path, so Amber realized she should get past the fact she may not be Dave's usual type. After all, the pair connected on levels that were more significant in a relationship.

Meanwhile, Danielle and Bobby were becoming a team. Their marriage felt "easy and smooth," and Bobby was glad Danielle had introduced him to fostering dogs, because he found it fulfilling and fun.

The three couples later gathered for a friendly dinner to catch up and enjoy each other's company.

Dave asked Mia to share more about what happened before the honeymoon, but she didn't want to get into it, or else she'd cry. Mia noted she had been detained without specifics, and she and Tristan put on a united front about the situation.

The topic at dinner then changed to whether the girls had changed their last names yet.

Both Danielle and Mia went through with the name change already, but Amber had not. Dave, however, wasn't bothered by the fact Amber was waiting since their new life together was happening so fast and was a bit overwhelming.

Tristan then spoke to the guys privately and revealed, in his opinion, there's a difference between loving somebody and being "in love."

"She's like, 'I'm falling in love with you.' And I was like, 'I can't get there yet because I'm still establishing trust,'" Tristan told Dave and Bobby.

Mia didn't seem to appreciate Tristan being so honest and candid with the other couples about what was happening in their relationship. She seemed to prefer they keep matters private.

But Tristan proved himself to be an outspoken guy with no shame, as he flat out asked the other two couples whether they were having sex yet.

While Bobby and Danielle declined to answer in order to keep their sex life as private as possible, Amber came right out and admitted she and her husband had been active in the bedroom.

Tristan then took it upon himself to announce he was having sex with Mia, quite "often."

Tristan came to the conclusion Married at First Sight had created three great matches and they'd all probably remain friends.

On Day 13 of the marriage, Tristan told the cameras he and Mia had gotten into an argument the night prior once cameras were turned off. Because she was upset, Tristan was upset.

"You told me that you were very disappointed in me because I had told Dave that I'm still working on rebuilding trust in you. You told me you were upset with me," Tristan told his wife.

"I just wish you had communicated that with me," Mia replied.

"I told you that there's a cloud hovering. This has been hell for me and I needed somebody to talk to about it... It's been so much," Tristan confessed, adding that he never got into details about why he needed to rebuild trust with Mia.

"I didn't say you had lied to me," Tristan clarified.

The "cloud" reference didn't make Mia feel good, but she knew removing the cloud would take time, consistency and good communication.

"I've never fallen so quickly and fast, so I'm committed to making this marriage work," Mia told the cameras.

On Day 16 of the marriages, each couple got together with friends and family to discuss how life was going. This marked the first time the couples have probably seen their parents or friends since the wedding.

Danielle and Bobby had a nice meal with Bobby's parents and sister Tricia. Danielle was commuting 90 minutes to work, which was unfortunate, but she loved living with Bobby. Danielle really enjoyed the company of Bobby's relatives, as she thought they all had similar personalities.

Danielle's friend Amanda also thought she had hit the jackpot with Bobby and they appeared to be a perfect match.

Meanwhile, Dave was introduced to Amber's best friend, Zakiyah, and her signficant other, Jason.

It quickly became apparent Zakiyah wears the pants in that relationship, and Dave didn't know how to feel about that. For instance, Zakiyah demanded Jason drink water rather than enjoy a cocktail or glass of wine.

The group, however, had a lot of fun talking and getting to know each other.

Mia and Tristan were then shown meeting with his mother, Kathy, who might need to look Mia in the eyes and ask questions in order to feel comfortable with their marriage.

The couple therefore traveled to Houston, and Tristan was looking forward to finally putting her arrest behind them. Mia knew there was a lot at stake meeting with Tristan's mother given he adored her.

Kathy was surprised to learn her son was expressing love for Mia after only two weeks, but Tristan gushed about her having "a heart of gold."

Tristan then revealed Mia had given him "little pieces of the truth" and then flat out lied to him over her run-in with the law.

"Have you told him everything that would affect him?" Kathy asked Mia.

"I told him everything in detail, like play by play," Mia replied.

Kathy had a lot of concerns, but as she listened to Mia explain herself, she felt at peace and at ease. Kathy could tell Mia was sincere and telling the truth, and Mia was so relivered by her reaction.

On Day 17 of the marriages, Dave was shown cooking a nice dinner for Amber, and she gushed about him being such a good husband.

The couple then discussed their meeting with Zakiyah and her husband, and Dave admitted to Amber that Zakiyah was "a ball buster." He told the cameras while his friends are very welcoming individuals and would get along with Zakiyah and Jason fine, they are two very different groups of people.

"I was taken aback [by Amber's friends]," Dave said in a confessional, before telling Amber he'd never want to have that type of relationship dynamic.

Dave then told Amber he'd like to introduce her to a couple of his best friends the following weekend. Amber noted she gets a little shy around new people so she was nervous about the meeting, but Dave insisted all of his buddies' wives were great people.

"It sounds great being involved with the wives, but I have my own friends already, so I don't feel like I need other friends," Amber said.

Dave found this upsetting because he wanted her to embrace the friendships that are also in his life. He felt they needed to do that in order to get to a good place as a married couple.

On Day 18 of the marriages, Dave introduced Amber to a couple of his friends, including a guy friend named Kelly, and they all enjoyed a barbecue. Amber opened up about her insecurities to the women in Dave's life, and they promised to be her biggest cheerleaders.

Amber blended wonderfully with Dave's friends, and the gathering was definitely a relief for her.

Tristan then suggested moving to Houston with Mia if she was onboard to further his business and be closer to his family.

Mia wanted to explore the city more before saying yes, especially since things were accelerating and happening so fast. This was a serious decision Tristan would have to make before Mia would open her heart and mind to the prospect.

Meanwhile, Danielle was falling in love with Bobby, and she said there was absolutely nothing she did not like about him. Danielle also made Bobby's heart skip, and he said it felt great to grow closer to her emotionally every single day.
