Amani, a 29-year-old non-profit worker who was raised in Chicago, IL, and Woody, a 30-year-old teacher and coach from New Orleans, were matched by Married at First Sight experts Pastor Calvin Roberson, Dr. Pepper Schwartz and Dr. Viviana Coles to wed on Season 11 of the Lifetime reality series.

After a whopping four months of marriage -- the longest process in Married at First Sight history due to New Orleans' stay-at-home order amid the coronavirus pandemic -- Woody and Amani chose to stay together on "Decision Day" and continue their marriage with the hope of a bright future together and growing more in love.

And during the reunion special that aired in late October, Woody got down on one knee and presented Amani with an engagement ring to signify his love for her and their lifelong commitment.

In a lengthy YouTube video the couple posted last week, Woody and Amani revealed how their relationship changed once the cameras stopped rolling.

"I think life without, like, Married at First Sight cameras has been a lot better for us because we're getting to connect on our terms and we're getting to talk about the stuff we want to talk about," Amani shared.

"Yup," Woody agreed.

"And, you know, being able to connect without feeling like somebody is watching us at every moment," Amani continued. "Because not only were the producers watching us, but I mean, y'all were watching us later."

And Woody acknowledged "life after the cameras" has been "nice."

"I loved it," Woody said of the post-show privacy.

"I mean, [being filmed] wasn't bad or whatever. [Cameras] were cool too. Honestly, I don't care, but having that time where I don't have to worry about people waking me up and [watching me] roll out of bed, it's a great time -- to not have to worry about any of that."

Woody gushed, "So just to spend time with my wife by myself, all the time by myself, I'd take that any day."

"It's been fun," Amani noted.

Many fans have been asking Woody and Amani if they got a dog after the show, which is something Amani really wanted to add to their life together.

"We did get a little puppy," Woody said with a laugh.

"We're telling them now?" Amani asked Woody, later laughing about how she had wanted to save that information for a separate YouTube video.

"Stay tuned for our dog in the next video," Amani teased.

"My B," Woody admitted.

Amani, however, went on to answer the question of when they planned to get a dog.

"We ain't getting a real dog right now," Woody said.

"[As for] when..." Amani began.

"When we're on the way to a baby," Woody disclosed.

"Mhmm," Amani agreed.

"So we're kind of waiting to introduce new people and animals into our space. So for the time being, we're going to wait. When we have a baby and start our family, then we'll start with a dog too. It's going to be great."

When asked about their intimacy and what goes on behind closed doors, Amani and Woody confirmed they "still shower together."

Later in the video, Amani and Woody shared their Top 3 favorite qualities about each other.

"Top 3 qualities, if I had to choose three, of you, it would be energetic, like, your... energy overall. I think that's by far a top quality for me because it's infectious and it kind of makes me, in a sense, want to be energetic with you," Amani said.

"Even though I'd be like, 'Oh that's a lot! It takes a lot of energy,' obviously. But I think it's rewarding to see you happy all the time."

Amani also said she appreciates how Woody is "committed" to her and his goals.

"You're completely -- I can tell that when you want something, you put your head in that space to make sure that you can get there and you can see, like, everything, the wheels turning and you're literally head first with it," Amani explained.

"And consistency... Consistency and being committed goes a long way for how you speak and how you walk into spaces."

And for her third favorite attribute or quality in Woody, Amani revealed, "Being honest."

"I feel like you are literally always truthful, even when it might be a little rough. I feel like those are great qualities, Top 3," Amani said.

In turn, Woody shared, "The first thing I would say I love about my spouse is her willingness to want to understand. I think it's different when people say, like, 'I do understand. I think I see and know.'"

Woody said because Amani wants to truly understand him, he tries to learn different ways to say and do things in order to better express himself and communicate with his wife.

"I do love that about you because I do want somebody that wants to understand [me]," Woody noted.

Woody also gushed about how "compassionate" Amani is, as far as how she "handles people" outside of himself.

"I think that's just something that I love. I think you handle everybody nice, even when it kind of irritates me and I want you to be mean and rude to people," Woody joked. "I think you give everybody the respect that I don't want you to give."

And last but not least, Woody revealed, "What I do love is the way you keep... me and our home together, in a sense."

"I love the fact you don't mind being the woman of the house," Woody explained.

"Alright! Shout-out to me being a good wife!" Amani gushed.

Woody added, "I love the fact that you love being a wife."

And finally, the couple confirmed they are still in love and seemingly happier than ever.

"Who don't [love being in love]?!" Woody exclaimed.

"I don't know what's wrong with people, man. Look, you better find somebody for you... Honestly, it's a good feeling, and that's the only way to be and to feel and to function."

"If you take anything from watching this, know you need to find somebody who actually genuinely loves you. That is something you should always strive to find," Woody concluded.

And Amani smiled ear to ear and told the camera, "I love being in love. It just makes me happy knowing that somebody is there for me, always, and I can do whatever or say whatever and they're going to be there to support me."

Amani and Woody -- who also revealed in the video they had actually met prior to their wedding day -- had a very heartfelt and emotional interaction on "Decision Day" when they opted to remain spouses on Married at First Sight.

Woody said he used to look at love as a thing or a person but being with Amani made him view it as consistency, security and safety. Woody said Amani gave him everything that he ever wanted.

In turn, Amani said she learned "love really can be unconditional" and she never thought she'd be able to find that with a partner.

Woody said he looked forward to a house, kids and a dog with his wife, and Amani felt she had "won."

In addition to Amani and Woody, Karen Landry and Miles Williams also stayed together on "Decision Day," as did Amelia Fatsi and Bennett Kirschner.

Henry Rodriguez and Christina, however, agreed to get a divorce, and Brett Lindsey and Olivia Cornu's marriage ended over a week before "Decision Day."

On Married at First Sight's Season 11 reunion special, Amani revealed her plans to take Woody's last name, and the pair were still experiencing "honeymoon vibes" after more than six months of marriage.

Woody then got down on one knee and told Amani, "I signed on. I never thought I'd get a life partner, you know? I've been holding this in for so long. Yes, they matched us. But honestly, I really do love you, for real."

"I just can't see you outside of my life," he added in tears. "So, I got this thing customized for you."

Woody presented Amani with a diamond engagement ring, and she started to cry.

"I'm sweating, I'm shaking, I'm nervous. Will you accept this from me? I know the show gave you a ring, but I think that you'll care more about it because it's actually from me for my reasoning, for our life," Woody said.

"Thank you! I do! Again," Amani replied, before hugging her husband. "I love you too."

Amani was so glad she was no longer by herself and Woody did everything he could to show how much he cared. She called her relationship "the definition of a fairy tale."
