Lisa Rinna has responded to backlash over her "stalker" comment about Colton Underwood, her fellow Season 4 The Traitors cast member.

"Hi, guys, okay, so it's come to my attention that my post that I responded to in my Housewife mode is taking on a life of its own and it's causing real problems for Colton and I do not want this because Colton and I are great," The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum, 62, said in a video she posted to her Instagram Stories on Saturday, according to Us Weekly.

"He was a great and is a great nemesis for me on the show in the game. Now, as you know, if you ask me to be a Housewife I'll bring it to you, right? That's what I was doing, all in the name of the game."

She added, "But just so you know, I am totally great with Colton. I have been texting with him. We talk. Everything is great."

A day earlier, on Friday, Lisa had called the former The Bachelor star a "stalker," referring to accusations Colton's ex-girlfriend Cassie Randolph had made about him in Fall 2020 after they split.

"Let's talk about you being a stalker..." Rinna wrote on Threads on Friday.

Lisa was responding to a meme a fan of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills had posted, warning Colton not to go toe-to-toe with Lisa on The Traitors since the pair had already been at odds on Season 4.

"THIS is who Colton thinks he's slick up against? GOOD LUCK BUDDY!" the fan wrote alongside a picture of Rinna asking Dorit Kemsley on a classic The Real Housewives episode, "Were people doing coke in your bathroom?"

Lisa received a lot of support from The Traitors fans for calling out Colton's "stalker" past, including one Instagram user who applauded her and wrote on Threads, "Please ask about the restraining order at the reunion. I'll finally tune in to this season if that happens."

In a second video post via Instagram on Saturday, Lisa said she felt "horrible" about "the backlash" Colton was receiving because her "stalker" remark was supposed to be perceived as just a playful jab.

"I don't want to hurt anybody. I am here to play the game, to have fun, and Colton is a great nemesis for me," Lisa explained in her second video post, according to Us.

"We had so much fun. I always, always had a great time with him. So please guys, be gentle. It's a game. It's a TV show. We're all doing the best we can. Don't send death threats or do anything to jeopardize somebody's family."

Rinna went on to reiterate how she had "so much fun" arguing with Colton on The Traitors and her experience on the show was "really hard."

"Listen, it's all part of the game, even after," Lisa admitted of the drama and theatrics.

"So everyone, take a deep breath and just know that everything is great. It's a game. It is a game. Try to watch it like a sporting event, you know? Like if you were watching football or wrestling, and just be gentle with everybody, because everyone is doing the best they can."

That same day, The Traitors released a statement via X condemning online hate and negativity.

"We are committed to making our casts feel safe, respected, and supported -- on screen and off," the show stated on Saturday.

"The cast of The Traitors are real people, and what happens in the game should never lead to cyberbullying or harassment. There's a difference between discussing a show and targeting individuals."

The statement continued, "Let's not ruin the passion for this show with unwarranted negativity and personal attacks. We appreciate your support."

Colton -- who publicly came out as gay in April 2021 -- is currently married to political strategist Jordan C. Brown, and the pair are raising a child together.

Prior to falling in love with Jordan, Colton had appeared on three different reality TV dating shows on ABC.

After failing to find love with Becca Kufrin on The Bachelorette's 14th season, Colton dated Tia Booth on Bachelor in Paradise and then starred on The Bachelor's 23rd season.

Colton gave his final rose to Cassie during The Bachelor finale, which filmed in late 2018 and aired in early 2019. The pair dated for about 18 months and discussed getting engaged before announcing their breakup in May 2020.

What started out as an amicable split turned nasty when Cassie accused Colton of trying to "monetize" their breakup by writing about it in his The First Time memoir as well as stalking and harassing her, which resulted in Cassie filing a restraining order against the former NFL player in September 2020 followed by a police report several weeks later.

Colton allegedly put a tracking device on Cassie's car, sent her "unsettling" text messages, and would stand outside her apartment or her parents' house very late at night.

Colton later told multiple press outlets Cassie ultimately dropped the restraining order after they were able to reach an agreement in private that addressed Cassie's concerns.

Cassie reportedly had no idea Colton was gay when they were together, and she declined appearing on his Coming out Colton Netflix series, which dropped in late 2021.

Cassie has since married musician Brighton Reinhardt.
