The 37-year-old former NBA player walked his first red carpet in years with 18-year-old daughter Destiny and 14-year-old son Lamar Odom, Jr., by his side.

"I'm doing great," he said in an interview with E! News. "Just chilling, relaxing, just here with my kids."

Odom, who finalized his divorce from "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star Khloe Kardashian in December, last appeared on the red carpet in 2012 with Bruce Jenner, Kardashian's step-father at the time, at the ESPYs.

Blac Chyna, who recently split from Kardashian's brother, Rob Kardashian, also attended the Kids' Choice Awards, but didn't interact with Odom.

The former Los Angeles Lakers player has kept a low profile since his highly publicized hospitalization in 2015.

He completed a 30-day rehab program in January, and addressed his road to recovery on The Doctors the same month.

"I think the perception on who I really am is wrong. I feel like I'm loyal and trustworthy. I was raised to care," the star said.

"It's not my job or duty to get people to believe me, especially the people I don't even know. I would like them to, but it's not the number one most important thing in my life," he added.

"The trust [of] my friends and my kids [is most important], to earn their trust again."

Odom shares Destiny and Lamar Odom, Jr., with ex-partner Liza Morales.

He and Kardashian initially split in 2013, but the reality star temporarily put their divorce on hold in the wake of Odom's hospitalization.
