According to an insider, the upcoming World of Dance judge and Drake's relationship "died down a bit," Us Weekly reported, and another source claims they are done "for now."

It's reportedly likely the 30-year-old rapper will pursue Lopez, 47, again when he returns to Los Angeles next month following his European tour.

They "have taken some time apart," a source similarly told E! News, "not because they don't want to be with each other, just because their schedules started getting insane."

Lopez alluded to a split February 4 on Instagram with the following quote: "Timing is everything. If it's meant to happen, it will, and for the right reasons."

Rumors first sparked of a romance between Drake and the former American Idol judge in December when he was spotted attending two of her Las Vegas shows. He also invited Lopez to a private dinner party at Delilah in West Hollywood on December 19, according to Us, and they were photographed leaving together in the same car.

The relationship appeared to become serious several weeks ago when the rapper reportedly dropped $100,000 on a platinum and diamond Tiffany & Co. necklace for Lopez.

Drake also showed the Shades of Blue actress how much he cared by putting together a prom in a Los Angeles church so Lopez could experience what she missed as a teen due to her pursuit of an entertainment career. Drake even had themselves crowned Prom King and Queen.

As for Lopez, she introduced Drake to her eight-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

"Drake has been hanging out at Jennifer's new house in Bel Air," a source recently told the magazine. "He has been there several times and is getting to know her kids."

Lopez previously dated Casper Smart on and off for five years before calling it quits on their relationship for good in August 2016. Drake was linked to Rihanna for seven years, but the longtime lovebirds split in October.
