Dancing with the Stars eliminee Danielle Fishel apparently isn't happy with the show's "confusing" scoring system.

"I am going to say the scoring on this show does confuse me. It is a little confusing," Danielle, 44, said during a recent episode of the "Pod Meets Twirl'd" podcast.
"I do think that maybe they could benefit from halves., like an 8.5 and an 8, and then 9 or a 9.5."

Danielle criticized, for example, how Dancing with the Stars judge Derek Hough scored the Team Dance round during "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Night," which aired November 4 on ABC.

For the team dances, the Boy Meets World star and pro partner Pasha Pashkov worked with three other couples to perform a lengthy routine, hoping to win a higher score than the opposing team of four pairs.
(Danielle's "Team Chicago" received a perfect score of 40 points from Derek and fellow judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and guest judge Flavor Flav. Team Kool only earned 38 out of 40 points, but it included a 10 from Derek).
"Even when I think about the team dance scores and I think about -- I think, mainly, my main question would be, I guess, for Derek, when he gives a critique to Team Kool about the dance, but then says, 'I think the first dance was better,' but then gives us both the same score. I'm like, 'Hmm, okay,'" Danielle said.
"So some of that stuff is a little confusing to me. I don't think that's out of line to say."
Danielle, however, acknowledged how she has no control over the scores and she's okay with that.

"People are entitled to do whatever they want and pick the scores that they want, but it is a little confusing as both a person on the ballroom floor and also, I think, as a viewer, sometimes those things are a little confusing," Danielle explained.
Danielle and Pasha were eliminated from Dancing with the Stars on the November 4 episode after scoring 34 out of 40 possible points from the judges for their contemporary routine to "Dream On" by Aerosmith.
Danielle and Pasha finished the night in seventh place on the judges' leaderboard out of eight couples.
Danielle, who clearly loved her experience on the show, admitted she was "very sad" to leave the competition.
"I'm sad my day-to-day life is going to so drastically change now," the actress noted.

"I have literally woken up every single day and looked forward to rehearsal and looked forward to what dance we were learning that week, and to seeing Pasha and collaborating with him and hanging out with him."
Danielle got a little choked up as she spoke to her listeners.
"Talking about not seeing him every day is going to make me very sad," Danielle said of Pasha.
"We had the most dream-like partnership you could possibly ask for with someone that you get thrown together with."
Danielle said she apologized to Pasha for not getting him all the way to the finals of Dancing with the Stars' 34th season.

"He apologized and said, 'No, I'm sorry I didn't get us to the finals.' And I said, 'No, this is on me, not on you,'" Danielle recalled.

However, Danielle has also placed a little blame on Dancing with the Stars editing for not including her personal backstory on "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Night," which explained the meaning behind her and Pasha's "Dream On" performance.
Danielle suggested it was probably difficult for the audience to relate -- and connect to -- her emotional performance when they didn't understand the significance behind the steps.
