The Queer Eye star and Jenna landed in the bottom two along with actress Kate Flannery and partner Pasha Pashkov based on the combination of judges' scores from Monday night and the home-viewer votes cast live as Dancing with the Stars aired in the Eastern and Central time zones on ABC.

Dancing with the Stars judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Len Goodman were able to vote to save one of the bottom-two couples from elimination. (Len, as the head judge, casts the deciding vote in the case of opposing votes from Carrie Ann and Bruno).

Carrie Ann voted to save Karamo and Jenna and then Bruno voted to keep Kate and Pasha in the competition. Len therefore determined he wanted to see Kate and Pasha perform again next week.

Prior to Karamo and Jenna's ouster, each celebrity and professional pairing performed a Halloween-inspired routine followed by a spooky "Team Dance" group performance.

The "Team Dance" scores added on to each couple's individual score.

It was a tough night of competition, as three celebrities and their pro partners tied for first place on the judges' leaderboard with a total score of 54 out of 60 points from the Dancing with the Stars judges.

The three celebrities were actor James Van Der Beek, pop star and Fifth Harmony member Ally Brooke, and country music star and former American Idol runner-up Lauren Alaina.

James and partner Emma Slater first danced a Viennese waltz to "I Put a Spell On You" by Annie Lennox that received 27 out of 30 points from the judges.

The couple then followed that up with a "Team Trick" dance to "Somebody's Watching Me" by Rockwell that earned them an additional 27 out of 30 judges' points.

Ally and partner Sasha Farber initially danced a tango routine inspired by the movie Suicide Squad that received 27 points from the judges.

Ally and Sasha were also members of "Team Trick," which added 27 points to their first score of the night.

Lauren and partner Gleb Savchenko first took the stage with an Argentine tango while dressed like vampires. The 27-point worthy routine was followed by their "Team Trick" performance that also earned 27 judges' points.

The Bachelorette star Hannah Brown and partner Alan Bersten finished in fourth place on the leaderboard with a total of 52 points.

After dancing a jazz routine to "Bad Girls" in which Hannah was dressed as a dead beauty pageant queen -- a routine which received 25 points -- she danced with "Team Trick" and received an additional 27 points.

Comedian and actor Kel Mitchell and partner Witney Carson claimed fifth place on the leaderboard with a total of 51 points.

Kel and Witney earned 27 points for their jive routine inspired by the The Rocky Horror Picture Show, but they fell down the leaderboard due to their "Team Treat" performance to "Sweet Dreams" by Beyonce, which only received 24 points from the judges.

Sixth place on the leaderboard went to Karamo and Jenna with a total of 49 points. Their individual dance for the night was a paso doble set to Destiny Child's "Survivor."

After earning 25 points from the judges for their paso doble, Karamo and Jenna only received 24 points for their "Team Treat" performance.

Kate and Pasha fell into seventh place on the judges' leaderboard with a total of 48 points -- which included 24 points for their individual rumba inspired by Little Red Riding Hood.

Kate and Pasha were also members of "Team Treat," so 24 points were added onto their original score.

And finally, former White House press secretary Sean Spicer and partner Lindsay Arnold landed at the bottom of the leaderboard again in eighth place.

Sean and Lindsay initially performed a jive routine in which Sean was dressed as Frankenstein that received 18 points from the judges. Sean and Lindsay also had 24 points added on to their score thanks to the "Team Treat" dance.

Teams for this Dancing with the Stars performance show were selected at random.

The next Dancing with the Stars broadcast will air on Monday, November 4 and feature an all-new "Dance Off" round, and one more couple is expected to be eliminated from the Season 28 competition.
