Chris is a 38-year-old trial lawyer from Moore, OK.

He will be playing on the Takali (Gen X) Tribe when the franchise's 33rd season premieres Wednesday, September 21 at 8PM ET/PT on CBS.

Chris believes he will do very well in the game of Survivor because he's able to juggle different personalities, has a great memory, and has always been able to fit in with both the "in" crowd and the "out" crowd.

Below is a list of 7 facts Reality TV World has compiled about Chris Hammons:

- He feels he is most like former Survivor castaway "Boston" Rob Mariano (Marquesas, All-Stars, Heroes vs. Villains and Redemption Island). Chris thinks Rob gave one of the most dominant performances ever on Survivor.

- Chris would describe himself as super competitive because he doesn't lose, tenacious because he never gives up, and a fighter.

- The castaway enjoys working out to relive stress, strategizing to be successful, and challenging himself to be the best.

- His pet peeves include smacking gum. He would do away with all gum on earth if he could.

- Chris' personal claim to fame is that he came from nothing, a trailer with no running water left behind by his drug-trafficking father at age 15. He feels he overcame "tremendous odds" and put himself through college on a football scholarship and law school after that.

- He has a sign that reads "The Home of Chris Hammons" in his garage, which he took from his hometown of Sulphur, OK.

- Chris' inspiration in life is Gerry Spence because he's "America's greatest trial lawyer that ever lived." Chris is inspired to fight for the "little guy" and give America a voice.
