The Bachelor alum Brooklyn Willie has revealed that Charity Lawson had warned her and offered advice about some of her The Bachelorette exes prior to Brooklyn filming Bachelor in Paradise.

Brooklyn and Charity became best friends when they competed on Zach Shallcross' The Bachelor season, and then Charity went on to star on The Bachelorette's twentieth edition.

Many of the bachelors looking for love on Bachelor in Paradise this fall previously appeared on Charity's The Bachelorette season, and so Charity apparently made her opinion known about whom Brooklyn and her other girlfriends should pursue -- or avoid -- on Bachelor in Paradise, which premieres its ninth season Thursday, September 28 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.

"Yes, yes. She definitely gave us, like, all the down-low on the guys from her season that she thought might be there," Brooklyn confirmed on the September 12 episode of the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast, which is co-hosted by BIP spouses Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt.

Brooklyn confessed that Charity's insight into these men "absolutely" gave her hesitation about some of her dating options in Paradise.

"I tried to have an open mind because, I mean, The Bachelor and [The Bachelorette], that situation is so much different than Paradise. [Paradise] is a lot more laid-back, and so I tried to be open-minded about that," Brooklyn explained.

"But at the same time, a red flag is a red flag, and so there were some where I was like, 'No, that's not going to happen.'"

But Brooklyn teased how Charity's warnings weren't 100 percent accurate, at least from what Brooklyn got to see of these guys on the beach in Mexico.

"Some predictions were spot on, and some of her tidbits, I was like, 'I see it,'" Brooklyn acknowledged.

"And then I wouldn't say some were way off, but they went a completely different way than we expected."

The Oklahoma native, who's currently working as a real estate agent in Texas, concluded, "But she definitely gave us some insight."

In the initial Season 9 cast of Bachelor in Paradise, five of the seven Day 1 bachelors hail from Charity's season: Aaron Bryant, Aaron Schwartzman, Brayden Bowers, Peter Cappio, and Sean McLaughlin.

The other two starters are Blake Moynes from Katie Thurston's The Bachelorette season and Will Urena from Michelle Young's The Bachelorette season.

In addition to Brooklyn, the women who will be shown hitting the beach right away in Paradise are Catherine "Cat" Wong, Eliza Isichei, Greer Blitzer, Jessica "Jess" Girod, Katherine "Kat" Izzo, Kylee Russell, Olivia Lewis, Mercedes Northup, Rachel Recchia, and Samantha "Sam" Jeffries.

Cat, Greer, Jess, Kat, Olivia, and Mercedes were among Charity and Brooklyn's competitors on Zach's The Bachelor season.

During a sneak peek video of Season 9 of Bachelor in Paradise that aired during The Bachelorette's Season 20 finale, host Jesse Palmer said in a voiceover, "Get ready for a wild time on the beach -- sexy dates and four former Bachelorettes crashing the party. Plus, someone has a serious medical emergency."

Jesse added, "Who will find their soul mate? Who will leave in tears? And who will decide to get MARRIED in Paradise?!"

Charity will be making a cameo appearance on Paradise as well as former The Bachelorette stars Katie Thurston and Hannah Brown. Rachel is the fourth The Bachelorette star on the spinoff, as she previously co-starred on Season 19 with Gabby Windey.

Charity recently played matchmaker for some of the Bachelor in Paradise cast during the September 7 episode of the "Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe" podcast.

"Okay, let's go! Initially, Kylee and [Aven Jones], because I was, like, hands down wanting that to happen. They just look so good together," Charity shared during a joint interview with her new fiance, Dotun Olubeko.

"I'm trying to think. I would say Greer and Brayden, but I don't know how that dynamic actually would work out... I don't see that man switching it up or doing anything different. He's going to be Brayden until the day he is out of here!"

Charity went on to hook up Sean -- her former The Bachelorette "Ken doll" -- with Jess, whom former The Bachelor star Clayton Echard recently admitted he had his eye on.

"She's a Florida girl, so that's why I kind of did that," Charity explained.

"Oh, it's a good pair then!" Dotun said in support of his fiancee. "I would agree with that."

Charity and Dotun, who got engaged at the end of The Bachelorette's twentieth season, gushed about how they'll "absolutely" be watching Bachelor in Paradise when it returns.

"We absolute are! Are you kidding?! That's going to be, like, how I cope with Dancing with the Stars and everything," Charity said.

Charity will be competing on Dancing with the Stars' 32nd season this fall, and she has been warned the schedule is demanding and hectic -- and that the male pros are "d-cks," according to Kaitlyn Bristowe.

Charity reiterated, "So we definitely will be watching. We are so excited about it. Some of my actually closest girlfriends are on there, and [Dotun] best guy friends and my exes [are on there]."

Charity -- who actually competed against many of the women on Zach's The Bachelor season, not just Brooklyn -- acknowledged that while it's "a weird dynamic," she thinks it's "going to be so funny" to watch the drama, love and storylines play out on TV.

"I cannot wait, truly!" Charity gushed.

Dotun joked, "Is there anything better than seeing your friends in mess?"

"I know!" Charity agreed. "It's like, 'How are you going to handle this?!'"

Dotun added, "It's perfect. We're going to be tuning in, 100 percent. Yeah."

Charity also joked that her "commentary is going to be unhinged" and fans will find her on "threads," voicing her opinions.

In July, spoilers surfaced revealing some of what happened and which couples left together when Bachelor in Paradise's ninth season was filmed in Mexico in June.
