Discovering the hard way that repeatedly acting like a wannabe diva is a poor way to endure yourself to the judges of the competition in which you are competing, Brandy, a 20-year-old cosmetology student from Houston, TX, became the third girl eliminated from the fourth edition of America's Next Top Model during last night's UPN broadcast.

Top Model 4's fourth episode opened with Rebecca giving everyone a recap of her third episode fainting spell -- after which (following a couple of scenes in which Brittany vowed to change her "porn star" look and Brandy blew up over the house's phone scheduling plans) the twelve remaining girls met up with ballet instructor Stefan Wenta to learn about poise and movement.

After a dinner where Tiffany drank too much wine and vomited under the restaurant table, the girls gathered the next morning to meet with 1970's modeling legend Beverly Johnson. Given the opportunity to ask Johnson candid questions about the modeling industry, Brandy inquired about whether attitude is important to be a successful model -- to which Johnson (obviously not consulting the show's judges) replied that given that so many people in the industry are temperamental, you can't take the feelings of others personally.

Moving on, the girls were directed to a tennis court for a photo shoot with photographer Alex Reznik where Alex, unbeknownst to the girls, had been instructed to be rude and overly harsh so that Jay Manuel (secretly watching from behind the scenes) could see how well they maintained their composure under pressure.

While most of the girls showed signs of frustration during the shoot, Brandy's negative energy once again stood out, with a comment made by Tatiana causing an already aggravated Brandy to loose her cool and lash out. "Brandy needs to keep the toughness inside, but look like a soft, supple model on the outside," Jay commented. Finally letting everyone in on the secret prank, Jay informed that girls that Naima managed to handle herself the best during the shoot, landing Naima, Kahlen, and Tiffany a dinner with tennis star (and aspiring fashion mogul) Serena Williams.

The next morning, Tyra Banks finally showed up, prepping the girls for their Warnaco Inc. calendar shoot in which each girl would represent a zodiac sign. In addition to once again becoming impatient while waiting for her turn in front of the camera, Brandy also had a difficult time modeling the shoot's harness and elaborate scorpion costume -- a development that didn't go unnoticed. "I just wish Brandy could take command of that harness... like a scorpion would," Jay commented following the shoot.

During the next evening's elimination ceremony, the judges reviewed the photographs from the tennis court challenge and the zodiac calendar. "It's this great personality that got you here, and what's going to send you home is the negative attitude," Tyra told Brandy before viewing her pictures.

Although many of the girls expressed great frustration throughout the week, in the end it was Brandy's continued anger that finally proved too much for the judges, making her the third girl eliminated from Top Model 4.
