Ben worked on being vulnerable and opening himself up to Tayshia throughout the season, and when he succeeded, Tayshia was overjoyed and wanted to know more.

"I could really see him being by my side for the rest of my life. I truly love Ben," Tayshia gushed.

But Ben totally shut down after Tayshia met his family at The Bachelorette resort. Ben shared with his loved ones that he was "in love" with Tayshia, but he couldn't express himself to the Bachelorette -- and so Tayshia wasn't sure they were on the same page.

"I don't know what to do. I'm still in love with her. I really thought we were going to be together. I wanted to marry her and she was going to be my wife, the mother of my children, all of these things," Ben lamented after his ouster.

"I should have told her how I felt when I had the chance after my hometown. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to fall out of love with her. Maybe she loved me and she thought I didn't love her back, and if that's the case, then I f-cking blew it."

Based on a preview of The Bachelorette's two-night finale event, however, it appears Ben may return and either seek closure from Tayshia or a second chance.

Until viewers find out what happens next between Ben and Tayshia, let's learn some things to know about The Bachelorette suitor right now.
