So, what's next for Kelly Clarkson, the bubbly 20-year-old who wowed a national television audience on Fox's summer television hit series for two months with her soulful singing?

Reuters reports that, for starters, "A Moment Like This," the song she sang for Wednesday night's estimated home audience of 22.5 million viewers -- the show's biggest to date -- will be coming to record stores on September 17th via her new RCA Records label recording contract.

Speaking backstage after being declared the winner at the show finale staged in Hollywood, Clarkson said she will appear at some media events in the days ahead and then plans to take four days off. After that, she said, anything is possible. "I like to entertain in general," she said. "I'll do whatever comes my way if I think it's good at the time."

In the more immediate future, Clarkson and series runner-up Justin Guarini will join the show's other eight finalists for a 28-city tour that will begin later this month. That tour will include a show in Las Vegas, which will be broadcast on Fox, a unit of News Corp. Ltd. Other than the Vegas show, Fox has no immediate plans to further promote Clarkson, a spokesman said.
