90 Day Fiance star Nicole Nafziger has clarified her fiance Azan Tefou isn't the subject her recent social-media posting that urged friends and partners to be supportive of a person's weight-loss efforts.

"A lot of people seem to think that Azan is the reason I am struggling with my weight loss journey and that's not true.  Azan has been super support in my journey and knows how I struggle with it," Nicole wrote in an extremely long Instagram Stories posting on Monday morning.

"He knows how many times I've tried and tried again to keep myself consistent. He's never discouraging and he never talks down my efforts even if it means starting all over.  No matter how many times I restart he is always telling me how he believes in me and knows I can do it."

In her prior posting, the 90 Day Fiance star had reposted an Instagram posting from Carter Good, an online fat loss coach.

"Want to help your friend or partner lose weight? STOP criticizing them for what they do wrong and START praising them for what they do right," the posting read.

Nicole admitted that, in hindsight, she can see how her followers may have believed the posting referred to Azan.

"I see how posting that one photo after talking about my struggles seemed to point that way but honestly I thought it was a really good post," she wrote. " A lot of my followers (and friends) have families who mock their efforts and talks down when they've had a 'bad' meal and hear no praise for all the hard work they do."

"Losing weight isn't just about the food and exercise. You need a support system! You see them everywhere; [Facebook] groups, weight loss apps (dietbet, twin body), coaches, etc. I just want to remind everyone to be kind to someone on their weight loss, especially if they are trying so much to be consistent. It's hard," she continued.

"A lot of people on Instagram show their journey after they lost a good amount of weight and know what they are doing. You've been following me and judging me since the sand dunes," Nicole wrote, referring to a memorable 90 Day Fiance scene in which she was shown struggling to climb a sand dune while visiting Azan in Morocco.

"Well guess what, the sand dunes didn't keep me down.  All this crazy health stuff, I'm doing it for ME! Myself first. And of course to be on Earth as long as I can with my daughter."

Nicole closed her lengthy posting by thanking her followers for motivating her and encouraging them in their own weight-loss efforts.

"Also, I want y'all to know that y'all motivate me! I've said this before but I need to say it again. When y'all message me or comment how I've motivated YOU to get up and walk or do the Tabata workout I did, [it's] amazing. Me?  I motivated someone to be healthy for themselves? That's such an amazing feeling!" she wrote.

"I love that I can motivate and inspire others to take that first step like others have motivated me! I may not get to reply to everyone's message because there are so many but thank you. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and ideas and your wins for the day!"

"I'll keep being honest with you.  Because if I lie on here, I'm only lying to myself.  I know I can do this, just as I know YOU CAN DO THIS. Do it for yourself. YOU GOT THIS! WE GOT THIS!"

So far, the only couple that TLC has formally announced for this spring's upcoming fourth season of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? are Chantel Everett and Pedro Jimeno, who were featured in a promo that aired during 90 Day Fiance's Season 6 Tell-All reunion special last month.

However, Nicole and Azan will reportedly also be part of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?'s Season 4 cast and began filming for the new season in November 2018.

As viewers last saw on Season 3 of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?, Nicole and Azan decided to delay their wedding in Morocco in June 2018 due to financial constraints.

Azan also appeared to talk Nicole into investing their wedding money into a beauty-store business instead.

"Azan is living off her... He's milking her for all he can," Nicole's stepfather Joe Fouraker told RadarOnline last August.

Nafziger gave Tefou $6,000 to open the alleged beauty store in Morocco, while he only contributed $500 to the company.

Azan also refused to show Nicole's mother a photo of the store, sparking speculation it was all a scam.

"I am surprised the purchasing of the store takes precedence over the wedding," Nicole's mom said during an episode of the series.

"That looks suspicious. Maybe this whole store thing is Azan's get-rich-quick scheme."

Prior to starring on the 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? spinoff, Nicole and Azan appeared on Season 4 and Season 5 of 90 Day Fiance.
