The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast is apparently breaking up.

Layla Taylor and Mayci Neeley both hinted they may be leaving The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives after their co-star, Mikayla Matthews, officially announced her departure on Monday, September 14.
A fan asked Mayci in one of her TikTok comments if she's "staying on the show," which is currently filming its sixth season, and Mayci, 31, replied, "I am finishing this current season that we are filming and then not sure for after that."
Mayci subsequently posted a lengthy TikTok video complaining about Season 4 and Season 5 scenes she had filmed that were ultimately cut.
"At the end of the day I don't care about having 'aura,' I care about providing for my family and being a good wife/ mother. Period," she explained.

"Going into SLOMW my intention has never been the fame, it has always been $$$ to provide for my fam and to positively impact people by sharing my story. So I'll take the cut and stay happy & healed."
Layla, for her part, was asked during a recent Q&A session via Instagram if she'll be reprising her role on the Hulu reality series.
Layla, 25, responded via Instagram Stories on Monday, "I just love her so much," expressing support for Mikayla.
"It's such an impossible situation for everyone involved, but I am finishing season 6 and then [to be determined]," she admitted.
When Mikayla, 26, confirmed she's leaving Mormon Wives, she explained in an Instagram post that she had made the decision earlier this month.

"After hearing some news, [I] will not be continuing the show at this moment [heart emoji]," Mikayla, wrote.
Mikayla -- who's been a regular on the show since Season 1 -- went on to explain how Taylor Frankie Paul impacted her decision, although she didn't name Taylor directly.
"I've said from the beginning of this that I'm not comfortable being a part of something that continues to platform behavior I don't agree especially given my own experience growing up in a home with multiple forms of abuse," Mikayla continued.
"There's no amount of money worth going against my morals or changing the stance I've had since I first saw and heard the things that made me feel this strongly."
Mikayla added, "And for me personally, continuing to directly profit from this behavior feels wrong and unethical. It feels like a disservice to the children, everyone's healing and the millions of people watching."

Mikayla went on to insist, "Supporting an ADULT doesn't mean constantly making excuses for toxic behavior while giving unconditional sympathy and grace with zero accountability or change. I was in that enabling cycle for years, and I'm not going to be a part of that again! Love you all."
Mikayla was seemingly referring to Taylor's ongoing legal and custody dispute with her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, with whom she shares son, Ever True, 2.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives had temporarily halted production on Season 5 in March because Taylor and Dakota had made dueling allegations of domestic violence and also filed restraining orders against each other.
Sources had told People at the time that several cast members wanted nothing to do with Taylor and refused to work with her.
Around the time Mormon Wives took a break from filming, a 2023 video of Taylor assaulting Dakota leaked online and prompted ABC to cancel Taylor's The Bachelorette season.

When Mormon Wives resumed filming, Taylor's involvement was limited and she was only asked back to the intro credits.
However, Taylor revealed earlier this week on Instagram that her role on Mormon Wives will continue because she wants to share her truth and hopefully help people in similar situations.
There has been tension amongst The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast for months. Taylor recently apologized for belittling her co-stars' success and achievements.
