Alongside a montage of photos of Guy and Johanna enjoying a trip to New York City, Guy wrote, "Johanna Boston, I guess the Lord must be in New York City [Apple and diamond ring emojis]."
A couple of the photos featured Johanna flashing her new diamond engagement ring.

Guy tagged Johanna in his post, on which she commented, "The trip was planned. The engagement was a surprise, and yes... [he popped the question] on the 86th floor of the Empire State building."
In terms of where the lovebirds plan to live, Johanna shared, "Planning on Reno and Del Mar for now. But you can't take the city out of the NYC girl!!"
Many congratulatory messages poured in from fans and friends, including The Golden Bachelorette star Joan Vassos.
"Congratulations, Guy! I'm so happy to hear about your engagement -- what a beautiful ending to your love story's search and the perfect beginning of forever," Joan wrote in the comments.
"[Rose emoji] Here's to finding your final rose and a lifetime of laughter, joy, and endless love."

After failing to win Joan's heart on The Golden Bachelorette, Guy publicly debuted his relationship with Johanna in April.
"I HAVE FOUND MY PERSON," Guy captioned an April 1 image of the couple smiling big while posing in front of a heart-shaped statue at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach Resort & Spa.
Guy hard launched his new relationship only one month after The Real Housewives of New York City alum Kelly Bensimon claimed that Guy had been texting her and sending her "novellas."

After allegedly texting back and forth and getting to know one another, Kelly said Guy suddenly dropped a bombshell on her that he was dating someone else.

"He was like, 'Oh, by the way, I'm dating someone. Here's her name.' And I was like, 'Wait, I'm sorry, what?'" Kelly revealed during a March episode of the "I Do Part 2" podcast.
Kelly also said Guy had sent her photos of himself and called himself an actor. (Guy guest starred on one episode of General Hospital that aired in March).
On The Golden Bachelorette, which aired in late 2024, Guy said he was "convinced" he was The One for Joan at the end of the process.
But Joan dumped Guy before he could meet her family, and then she accepted Chock Chapple's marriage proposal at the Final Rose Ceremony that filmed in Bora Bora.
Guy left the show feeling "devastated" and "heartbroken," and he admitted in November 2024 that Joan had said "some things, even on TV" that made him "question" if she had made the right final decision.

But the retired ER doctor admitted on After the Final Rose that, although it was hard to relive the season and watch Joan fall in love with another man, he was doing okay and had an open heart for love in the future.
Chock subsequently shared on the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast that Guy is "a fantastic" and genuine person who handled The Golden Bachelorette journey with class.

"He cared for Joan, he really did. He had strong feelings for her, so I feel for him, and I've got to be respectful," Chock explained late last year.
"But also, he's a friend of mine, and [loving the same woman] is a tough thing. You don't see that in the normal world, but we've been able to maintain our friendship and we talk. He's just a good, solid person and I support him 100 percent."
Chock admitted he may not have been as "graceful" had he lost Joan at the end of filming.
"Again, Guy deserves a lot of credit. He is a really solid person," the Kansas-based insurance executive concluded.
Guy later shared in January 2025 how he and Chock had spoken a few times and were still on good terms.
While Guy and Joan weren't speaking at the time, Joan only had positive things to say about her ex.
"I'm not sure Bachelor Nation really knows Guy well... but he is such an amazing human being," Joan told Us Weekly earlier this year.
"He is so smart, so caring," she continued, "and he has an emotional intelligence beyond his years. He's just a wonderful guy."

Joan also defended Guy when news broke during The Golden Bachelorette season that a restraining order had been filed (but ultimately dropped) against him.
