When teasing how the show ends, Rachel said, "Well, it's definitely a lot different from last season," according to Variety.

On The Bachelor's 26th season starring Clayton Echard, which wrapped in March, both Gabby and Rachel had their hearts broken and were dumped at the same time.

Clayton slept with both Rachel and Gabby, introduced them to his family, and expressed his love for them both. However, Clayton claimed he was "the most in love" with Susie Evans, and so he decided after Fantasy Suites to pursue a relationship with only her. (Susie and Clayton are currently dating).

"I think we're both extremely happy," Rachel told Variety.

"We feel so lucky to be in the position we're in... Two different journeys, double the drama... It's definitely not an easy road. There are going to be bumps in the road. We're all figuring it out."

Gabby pointed out how "love is messy" but she and Rachel both left The Bachelorette process feeling pleased and content with their decisions and how things came to a close.

"Yeah, we're both really happy," Rachel said.

"Yeah," Gabby agreed. "It was really a great experience in so many ways and realms, so we're both extremely grateful and happy for our opportunity."

In a separate interview with Glamour, Gabby teased how traveling through Europe via cruise ship created a "magical, surreal and romantic" experience for both women.

Rachel said, when looking back on her experience as a whole, she's "so glad" that she chose to film The Bachelorette after being devastated on The Bachelor, and Gabby agreed, "Yeah, no regrets at all."

"Everything was supposed to happen the way it was supposed to," Gabby explained to the magazine.

"You have to make mistakes along the way, and then you learn from them. I feel an overwhelming sense of what is meant to be, will be... You just have to trust that."

The nurse and the pilot wouldn't reveal whether either of them got engaged when the finale taped, but Gabby reiterated how they're both "really happy."

"We can't talk about relationships," Rachel explained to Glamour. "Everyone's just going to have to wait and see how everything unfolds, but we're definitely really happy with the decisions we made. We feel pretty good."

Gabby and Rachel went into The Bachelorette process as best friends, but as the first two episodes of the season have shown, they crushed on some of the same men and also kissed some of the same bachelors.

Both women admitted on the show how they were naturally going to stumble across some complications and adversity dating the same pool of suitors.

"We're both really understanding people. Of course we're going to kiss some of the same guys. Of course we're going to have some similar interests. That's just normal," Gabby said.

"Time really does progress, and the journey gets more complicated and deeper. In the beginning, we were just taking one step at a time and seeing what would arise, tackle that, and move on."

The ladies assured Variety that they were in "control" and had "no cat fights."

"There is drama. That just comes with the show -- but not with us... I just can't imagine doing it without her," Rachel said.

Rachel firmly believed Gabby had her "best interest" in mind, and the pilot said she couldn't wait to have talks with Gabby throughout their time filming the show.

"Our friendship is the one thing that always remains solid and that's consistent... We were always honest with each other and never hid anything," Gabby insisted to Variety.

"There were no secrets... Unfortunately, probably not the drama that people expected."

Gabby said having Rachel by her side made her feel "secure" in a "tumultuous environment."

The Bachelorette's second episode, which aired on Monday night, featured Gabby and Rachel eliminating eight men.

Gabby and Rachel sent Chris Austin, Jordan Vandergriff, John Anderson, Brandan Hall, Colin Farrill, Justin Budfuloski, Matt Labagh, and Ryan Mula packing over the course of their first week of dates.

Gabby and Rachel haven't let any men get in between their friendship, but Gabby and Rachel have been shown developing similar romantic feelings for Logan Palmer, Mario Vassall, and Johnny DePhillipo.
