The Bachelorette star Hannah Brown says she loved both Jed Wyatt and Tyler Cameron at the end of her journey on the show but ultimately gave her final rose to Jed because he was the safe choice.

"[Tyler] was the scary choice, and Jed was more familiar. In that moment, [choosing Jed] felt like the safest, best decision I could make," Hannah told People in an interview.

When it became time to choose a winner, Hannah admitted, "I loved two different people."

"I was getting engaged to one and breaking up with the other all on the same day. I was trying to make a choice, but you can't shut off emotions. I wanted to be 100 percent sure, but I don't think I ever was."

Hannah explained her connection with Tyler, a general contractor from Florida, was powerful, but she had some uncertainty about what their future would look like together at the time of filming.

"I was immediately attracted to Tyler, but I didn't take it seriously at first," Hannah said, referencing how she had initially pegged Tyler to be a smooth player in light of his charm and handsome looks.

"I was so scared to get hurt by him. And I didn't know if he was really ready for [marriage]. Then I started to slowly break down. And [by] the Fantasy Suites, it wrecked me. I felt like I did a disservice because I hadn't allowed myself that time to be ready to be engaged to Tyler."

During their Fantasy Suite date, Hannah told Tyler that she didn't want to have sex with him in order to advance their emotional connection.

And that night, Tyler showed Hannah restraint and great respect by spending the whole night talking and giving her intimacy in other forms.

The following morning, Hannah broke down into tears when she watched Tyler leave because the night they had together was so special. She appeared overwhelmed by how sweetly Tyler had treated her.

As a result of loving two men at once at the time of her Final Rose Ceremony in Greece, Hannah admitted to People there was a moment during Jed's marriage proposal when she had doubts.

"There was a second that I questioned [my decision]," Hannah revealed. "But I felt like my heart was broken in four pieces, and Jed had the biggest piece."

Five weeks after Jed and Hannah got engaged, their relationship hit a wall when Hannah learned disturbing details about Jed's relationship with fellow Nashville-based musician Haley Stevens prior to his appearance on the show.

Because Jed had been dishonest about the details of his former relationship in which he had told Haley he loved her and never actually broke up with her before filming The Bachelorette, Hannah dumped him and called off their engagement.

Jed apologized for his behavior multiple times and insisted he truly loved Hannah more than anything -- and still does -- but it wasn't enough to convince Hannah to stay in the relationship.

"It's now been five weeks since Hannah dumped Jed, and she currently has her sights set on "repairing [her] heart" and maybe even reconciling with Tyler.

During the live portion of Tuesday night's The Bachelorette finale, Hannah asked Tyler out on a date, and he said, "I would love to, just tell me when. I'm there."

The pair, however, will be starting out as friends and taking things slow, as Tyler told People it would be "unhealthy" to jump right back into a relationship immediately after a whirlwind couple of months.
