The Bachelorette star Gabby Windey has revealed she's still talking to her Dancing with the Stars 31 castmate Vinny Guadagnino and thinks he's "hot."

Gabby admitted while competing on Dancing with the Stars' 31st season late last year that she had a crush on Vinny and would definitely go on a date with him if he asked.

The pair flirted on social media for months beginning in November 2022 and spent a lot of time together on the Dancing with the Stars tour earlier this year, but Vinny confirmed in January that he and Gabby weren't dating -- and so a romance apparently never got off the ground.

"It was, like, kind of a thing and then, now I, I don't know," Gabby, 32, said on the April 25 episode of the "Off the Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe" podcast.

"We're still talking. We came on tour for, like, a week, and we had a ton of fun together. And he is just a good friend. He gets it, you know? Like, he spent his life on reality TV. He's really smart. He's really funny. He's, like, hot."

Gabby said she and the Jersey Shore star, 35, actually still "chat all the time."

"He was like, sliding into my DMs the other day, and I'm like, 'We're past that,'" Gabby said.

"I'm like, 'Are you flirting with me?' And he's like, 'Um, yeah. Now I'm nervous.' And I was like, 'Just tell me you like me.' And he was like, 'I like you.'"

Gabby said the exchange was "cute" but Vinny has a "really busy schedule" and he's "always filming" with the Jersey Shore cast.

"And he has some other exciting things coming up. And he hates [Los Angeles]!" Gabby, who currently lives in L.A., revealed.

Since Vinny lives in New York, Gabby confessed, "I'm always trying to get him out. I'm like, 'Never say never.'"

Kaitlyn chimed in that she's shipping and "rooting" for Gabby and Vinny to become a couple.

"He's so much fun! If anything, he's a friend too, first, which is something that I just really want," Gabby shared. "We were gossiping and sending voice memos the other day and I'm, like, 'This is fun! This is what I want!'"

Gabby disclosed how she's "personally very into long-distance dating" because she enjoys having two separate lives.

"We can talk and text on the phone, keep things fresh [and spicy]," Gabby said.

Vinny confirmed to Us Weekly in January that he and Gabby weren't an item, even though Jessie Decker had noticeably commented on Instagram how Vinny and Gabby should double date with her and her husband Eric Decker in Nashville.

"It takes a lot more for me than just, like, a couple Instagram comments to be dating someone," Vinny explained.

"But I would go on a double date with her and Jessie and her husband. I would actually go to dinner with Gabby. It's just that we just met, you know what I mean? It's not like anything serious."

Vinny, however, gushed about how he has "great chemistry" with the 32-year-old former ICU nurse and NFL cheerleader.

"We're both, like, comedians. So, that's why we get along and that's also why we flirt so much on Instagram because we have that same banter with each other," Vinny shared at the time.

Gabby and Vinny's flirting began in November, when Vinny playfully dubbed Gabby his "Baby mamma" on social media and she in turn called him, "My main man."

Gabby also called Vinny a "ten" on Instagram and he quipped in reply about how she needed to stop talking about herself.

Gabby was recently spotted on a dinner date with Dancing with the Stars pro Alan Bersten in March, but Gabby confirmed they're "just friends."

After competing for Clayton Echard on The Bachelor's 26th season and having her heart broken before the Final Rose Ceremony, Gabby co-starred on The Bachelorette's nineteenth season alongside Rachel Recchia in 2022.

Gabby got engaged to Erich Schwer on The Bachelorette's Season 19 finale, which aired in September 2022, but they called off their engagement less than two months later.

News of Gabby and Erich's split surfaced on November 4, and then Gabby revealed on Dancing with the Stars later that month how she and her former fiance weren't "in sync" or "the best match" for each other.

Gabby said she and Erich weren't compatible once they started their lives together in the real world after being in The Bachelorette bubble.

"I genuinely thought I had met the person I could spend the rest of my life with," Gabby told Kaitlyn on her podcast.

But she said of their split, "You think you know somebody and you really don't, and I was just looking at my ring and it was tainted, like, 'This isn't how an engagement ring is supposed to feel.'"
