The Bachelorette star Hannah Brown struggled to connect with Luke Parker after Luke Stone quit and she also eliminated John Paul Jones and Matteo Valles during Tuesday night's Season 15 broadcast on ABC.

Luke S., a 29-year-old political consultant from Washington, DC, decided to quit the show before the Rose Ceremony because he appeared to be fed up with all the Luke P. drama.

Hannah later ousted John Paul, a 24-year-old from Lanham, MD, and Matteo, a 25-year-old management consultant from Atlanta, GA, during the Rose Ceremony.

The Bachelorette broadcast began with Jed Wyatt saying Luke Parker was "not a good guy" and he had proven that to everyone "time and time again." Everyone was hoping Hannah would choose Luke S. over Luke P. but they weren't convinced that was going to happen.

Hannah then sat the two rivals down so she could hear them talk to each other.

Luke S. accused Luke P. of lying to Hannah about Luke S.'s alleged desire to promote his tequila company that doesn't even exist yet to sabotage their relationship as well as promising to "clear the air" with Hannah when, in reality, Luke P. threw him under the bus, saying Luke S. had forced him to talk to her and put in a good word.

Luke P. then admitted he didn't believe Luke S. was on the show for the right reasons and didn't think Luke S. would be a good fit for her. Luke S. called Luke P. "a liar" and felt deceived, but Luke P. insisted he'd always be honest with Hannah.

Mid-conversation, Hannah got up and left in frustration. And someone like Dustin Kendrick was upset the drama was taking away from his time with Hannah during the cocktail party.

"You're so full of sh-t it's incredible; it's coming out of your ears," Luke S. told Luke P.

The guys collectively disliked Luke P. and didn't want to hear another word from him, and Luke S. was upset Luke P. had made him look really bad. Luke S. did not want to get dragged down by another guy in the show.

Hannah then canceled the rest of the cocktail party and the Rose Ceremony began. She announced she was going to follow her heart and her gut.

With that being said, Luke S. asked to speak with Hannah privately. Luke S. apologized for causing Hannah any pain but decided to quit the show.

"I am tired of defending my character time and time again. I would just urge you to keep your eyes open for I think you know what I'm talking about. Just be wary; keep your eyes open," Luke S. told Hannah.

Hannah told the group when she returned to the Rose Ceremony that she didn't want anyone to stay who didn't want to be there.

Hannah then handed out roses in the following order: Peter Weber, Connor Saeli, Dylan Barbour, Dustin, Mike Johnson, Kevin Fortenberry, Devin Harris, Grant Eckel, and Luke P.

John Paul and Matteo were therefore denied roses and eliminated.

"The guys might not understand, and I get it, but Luke P. is still here because my heart wants him to be here. My head doesn't always want him to be here," Hannah explained, adding that she needed to explore their relationship further to get to the bottom of things.

Hannah and her remaining group of suitors then traveled to Scotland for another week of dates.

Hannah promised to be more open with the men and asked them in return to reset so they could all have fun in Scotland and be on the same page, but the guys were still angered about Luke P.'s aggressive tactics and alleged false persona.

Luke P. wanted to "gag" at the thought of one of his competitors ending up with Hannah, but Jed apparently felt the same way about Luke P.

"He still can't get his story straight. Everything is twisted. Every single thing he says has changed and is switched around. This isn't me trying to throw him under the bus. This is about me caring about Hannah and not letting 'The Lukeness Monster' slide into her heart and mind and poison her," Jed told the cameras.

Meanwhile, Mike wanted to show Hannah that he could be "her Braveheart," and he did end up receiving the first one-on-one date in Scotland.

Hannah and Mike explored Inverness together for their date, from trying sweets in a candy store and tasting whiskey to reading books in a library and playing pool in a pub.

Hannah thought Mike was funny and handsome, and Mike was so impressed by how genuine Hannah seemed. Mike couldn't stop smiling around Hannah, and he just wanted to be around her more and more.

Mike said he was forming a "unique" bond with Hannah and their connection was "real." The couple shared a magical, romantic kiss in Scotland, and then their date continued into the night with a nice dinner.

Mike said his ex broke his heart in 2015 and so he was "terrified" to fall in love again. However, he could see himself falling in love with Hannah and building a future with her.

At dinner, Mike admitted it was really hard for him to open up because he didn't want to get his heart broken again. But Hannah reminded him he had to take a risk in order for this process to work.

Mike was growing "intense feelings" for Hannah.

Mike then discussed how he had served in the military and was a hopeless romantic. Mike apparently only told one woman that he loved her, and he told Hannah that he was "really, really ready" to settle down and be with one person.

"I can see myself getting down on one knee in a few weeks, and I've never felt so lucky," Mike told Hannah.

Hannah then gave Mike a rose, saying he had taken giant steps forward in their relationship and showed her "what could be" for them.

Afterward, Hannah and Mike enjoyed a Scottish party with dancing and drinking. Hannah appreciated the many layers of Mike and said she could see a future with him.

The next day, Hannah embarked on a group date with Devin, Tyler, Jed, Dylan, Grant, Connor, Dustin, Peter, Kevin and Garrett.

Luke P. therefore received a one-on-one date. He told the group he had "reached a breaking point" in which he needed to find "clarity" about how he really felt about Hannah. Luke P. was clearly still considering leaving the show.

Jed was incredibly annoyed because Luke P. had insisted he was falling in love with Hannah during the first group date.

Once Mike returned from his date, he called Luke P. "a monster" again after Luke insisted his feelings for Hannah had never changed since the start of the process.

Mike called Luke P. out on being wishy-washy and changing his tune, but Luke P. denied ever having suggested that he wanted to leave.

For the group date, the men competed in their very own Celtic Highland Games.

The guys were asked to go to war and battle for Hannah's heart by participating in classic Scottish games such as throwing an axe at a wooden target and racing with buckets on their shoulders filled with milk.

Hannah was looking for physical strength as well as strength of heart. She thought Peter stood out and Tyler and Jed both looked "hot." Things then got interesting when the guys had to wrestle in their kilts without underwear on.

"I saw all the bagpipes, but at the same time, it's not the size of your bagpipe [that matters], it's how you play it," Hannah joked in a confessional.

At one point, Jed asked to battle "the queen," and he gently pinned Hannah to the ground and kissed her in front of everyone. In the end, Jed was crowned champion of the games.

That night, Hannah took advantage of some hot and sexy moments as she attempted to strengthen her relationships.

Hannah straddled Jed in a chair and made out with him, also allowed Peter to lay her down on a pool table so they could make out, and threw Tyler down onto a bed for a steamy kiss.

Kevin walked in on Jed and Hannah kissing and was immediately jealous because he had yet to kiss the Bachelorette.

The guys, however, all stepped up their game that night and made Hannah hopeful about finding her perfect match on the show.

Hannah ultimately decided to give Jed the group date rose, saying he had been great all day. Hannah felt loved and appreciated by all the guys.

"I felt no sense of drama. It would be ignorant of me to ignore the fact today went so great and Luke P. wasn't on this group date... I need to get to the bottom of concerns I have with Luke P... I am looking for answers," Hannah said in a confessional.

The following day, Luke P. embarked on his one-on-one date with Hannah.

Before Luke P. left, Garrett told the bachelor to "be a man" and keep all of their names out of his mouth. Luke P. acknowledged he "planned on it."

Hannah was hoping Luke P. would express his emotions that day and stop trying to be perfect because it often came across as fake.

The couple held hands and walked through a field of flowers by the ocean. Luke P. expected the date to be "phenomenal," but Hannah admitted it bothered her that the other guys didn't like him.

Luke P. said he got down to the root of the problem after thinking things through and he could've handled the whole "sideline" situation with Luke S. a lot better. Luke P. admitted he had "screwed up" during the rugby game but he truly felt Luke S. didn't go on the show for the right reasons.

Luke P. said the guys often put words in his mouth, twisted things around, and blew his statements out of proportion.

"Everything I do, they are trying to amplify it in a negative way, and it's a very tough position to be in right now. It's not easy, but I'm never going to quit," Luke P. explained to Hannah.

Hannah explained she wanted a man whom people are drawn to, someone whose insides are appealing to others. Luke insisted people in his life back home absolutely "love" him, but Hannah viewed that comment as being boastful.

Hannah asked Luke to tell her how he feels, and then he said the guys weren't treating him right but he was on the show for her and just wanted to give her clarity.

Hannah grew frustrated because she needed more from Luke P.; she needed him to express his feelings and emotions from his heart.

Hannah and Luke P. then explored a castle, and she told him to stop saying things that sounded good. She wanted to get to know the real Luke, like whether he liked spaghetti or mac and cheese better.

Hannah felt conflicted and had trouble communicating to Luke P. what she wanted from him. Hannah wanted to send Luke P. home because he was pissing her off, but she admitted she couldn't.

"I can't keep making excuses for him when I'm not doing that for anybody else," Hannah told the cameras. "He doesn't say exactly what he's doing wrong, he gives excuses for it... I want him to step out of his comfort zone and fight for our relationship."

Hannah told Luke P. at dinner that night that their date "didn't go very well." He became worried about their romance and noted he felt like he was "on thin ice."

Hannah owned up to having concerns about Luke P. and the walls he apparently had up. She was tired of Luke P. acting like the perfect, good guy. She wanted to learn his flaws.

Luke P. confessed he had been trying to be perfect and it was a hard few weeks for him. He said he had a difficult time letting loose and being himself because the other guys were bringing him down.

Hannah told Luke that she has emotional breakdowns and can be "a devilish b-tch" at times in attempt to articulate why she's not perfect, hoping Luke P. would "own up to" his flaws and be real.

Luke P. said Hannah was the woman of his dreams and he loved every single thing about her, but the pair talked in circles, and Hannah wasn't getting anywhere.

Hannah struggled to articulate her needs, and Luke just wasn't able to meet her halfway. Hannah began to question why she was still keeping him around, and she didn't know how she felt about the bachelor.

Hannah then had to decide whether she wanted to give Luke P. the date's rose.

"I am always -- good or bad -- excited to talk to you and want to know you more and try for that more than I have with anybody. But honestly, today was the worst a day has gone for me. I see you, but I want to see what's under there... That's what I want forever to be, what I think is there," Hannah told Luke.

"I want to know who you are... Sometimes I can be like, 'I totally see you as my future husband,' and other times, I look at you and I don't think that there are any roads that lead to what I want -- what I really want. So I can't give you this rose."

The Bachelorette episode then ended on a cliffhanger.
