The Bachelorette host Chris Harrison says he's anxious to hear Jed Wyatt's side of allegations he had a girlfriend at home while filming the show when the season's two-night finale airs live later this month.

According to Chris, Jed will speak out on the finale for the first time since his ex-girlfriend, Haley Stevens, claimed in June that Jed was dating her in March when he left to film The Bachelorette to promote his music career, People reported.

"There's a lot of rumors," Chris, 47, told the magazine. "There's a lot of things being said. I think she has narrowed it down to three good guys. I know how it ended in Greece, but I don't know how this is going to end up for her."

Haley told People last month Jed had promised her that he would return home to her in Nashville, TN, after the show and they'd resume dating.

Jed allegedly texted Haley "I love you" before he boarded his flight to Los Angeles, CA, and then again after the plane landed. And Haley claimed Jed was just hoping to make the Top 5 bachelors in order to get his name out there.

"That is why I'm actually really interested in this two-night finale that's coming up," Chris explained.

The Bachelorette finale is scheduled to air on Monday, July 29 and Tuesday, July 30, with both broadcasts airing from 8-10PM ET/PT. ABC says Hannah, Tyler, Jed and Peter will all make an appearance and speak their piece.

"It's live, and I love going into a show not knowing how it's really going to turn out," Chris said.

"I want to hear Jed's side of the story. I think a lot of people have spoken, and before we judge -- which we're so quick to do on Twitter -- I would like to hear from him."

Despite all the reports that have been swirling for weeks, Chris said Jed has most likely kept quiet "out of respect" for the show given contestants are traditionally barred from speaking out publicly about their experiences on the show until after their eliminations air.

"That can't be easy for him. So no matter what happens, I will say thank you to him for that. And I respect him for that because I would be jumping from the tree tops to speak my truth [after] being blasted like he has been," Chris said.

"So I'm going to give him a chance to speak... I want to give him a chance to speak his truth and find out what's his side of the story."

However, Jed previously released a statement on Instagram that touched upon all the drama.

In the wake of Haley's claims, Jed asked Bachelor Nation to respect him and his family in a July 8 post.

"Hi y'all. Several of you have reached out with messages and questions. Please know I'm not able to answer right now, but as soon as I'm able to, I will," Jed wrote at the time.

"Until then, I ask that you please understand how much the actions being taken towards myself, my family, the men on the show, and above all, Hannah, are affecting all of our mental and physical health."

"It goes beyond what is said online," Jed continued in his post.

"Threatening letters and phone calls have been sent to our homes. My parents and sister are being verbally attacked in public. I beg you to remember what seems like a harmless action is damaging to real people."

The singer and songwriter from Nashville concluded, "I want to thank all of you who have reached out or reserved judgement until I am able to speak openly and I can only ask for your patience and kindness until then."

Jed is not the only person in Hannah's Final 3 bachelors to find himself in hot water recently.

Peter Weber's ex-girlfriend, Calee Lutes, also came forward in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, alleging the airline pilot had dumped her in December 2018 to appear on The Bachelorette's fifteenth season.
