The Bachelorette bachelor Nate Mitchell has revealed whether he was still open to dating Rachel Recchia after his one-on-one date with Gabby Windey.

On Monday night's episode of The Bachelorette's nineteenth season, Nate accompanied Gabby on her first one-on-one date of the season, and the pair enjoyed a helicopter ride over Los Angeles, a steamy hot tub on a hill, and finally a romantic dinner.

The 33-year-old electrical engineer from Chicago, IL, called his date with Gabby "magical" and said she was "radiant," but many of the men in the house were unsure in the beginning of the process whether to pursue love with Rachel or Gabby -- or get to know the both of them.

Nate, however, confirmed on a recent episode of Becca Kufrin and Michelle Young's "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast how he was totally sold on Gabby after their date.

"I think I was all in on Gabby," Nate explained to the former The Bachelorette stars.

Nate complimented Gabby's amazing personality and how she has so many layers to her. He said their kisses were amazing, and Nate described their first date as "effortless" on the podcast.

"I get along with a lot of people, but for something to be that seamless, I wasn't going to try to search for that elsewhere," Nate explained of his connection with the ICU nurse from Denver, CO.

"I thought and I knew that Rachel is an amazing woman, but for the most part, what kind of happened with me and Gabby, I didn't want to take away time from fully immersing in and exploring that relationship."

Nate said he was "one way" at that point, only heading in Gabby's direction.

Nate and Gabby also appeared to develop a strong connection when Nate gushed about his six-year-old daughter, whom he called his "world."

"That conversation could've gone a number of ways, but [Gabby] has such a calming presence around me that I just did feel completely open expressing it," Nate shared.

"And then her opinion on it and asking me questions, following up, I was like, 'Wow, she's really attentive,' and it just made me feel so comfortable."

Nate said he wants to be able to have those "difficult conversations" with a partner and Gabby helped him to open up, allowing him to really see her as a potential wife.

Nate told Becca and Michelle how his conversation with Gabby made them "a lot closer" and was "a bonding moment," especially when Gabby explained how she didn't feel loved by her mother growing up and had fears of being a mother as a result.

"We had that serious moment, and then right after, we were able to start joking again and make it lighthearted and fun, so we really did have a really good dynamic, in the things that we covered in that date alone," Nate said.

Nate received a rose from Gabby on their date, and Gabby seemed smitten with the suitor.

"He gives me the confidence to not be so scared. Some people have the ability to love greater and maybe feel things more, and I can see him having such a great capacity for love," Gabby said. "It's easy to see my life with him. He really is a true, true man."

Also during the latest episode, Nate was also shown defending Gabby and Rachel when Chris Austin said he'd quit the show during Fantasy Suites if the woman he liked had sex with another man first.

"This could be our Queen. This could be the mother of our children. This could be someone we spend the rest of our lives with," Nate vented to the other suitors.

"You cannot have pre-conditions to love. It's a form of control a lot of men don't realize they do that damages good women."
