Katie took to Instagram late last week and posted a video in which she shared, "So I'm currently headed to my monthly blood draw because my liver is having some issues. I did just have a liver MRI, the cancer does not exist there."

She continued, "That does not mean I'm cancer free, I'm not quite there yet."
Katie went on to detail what's next for her in her healing journey.

"My hope is to get my liver enzymes down because they are elevated," she explained.
"Normally I get my blood drawn every month, except lately my liver has been being a little b-tch, and so I'm at an every two-weeks schedule because I have elevated enzymes... Why that sucks is because then I have to actually pause my cancer medication."
She added, "Because when you have stage 4 breast cancer, not taking your medication is very scary."
Footage proceeded to show Katie walking home after her blood draw, and she applauded herself for not breaking down into tears.
"Back in the day, I used to hyperventilate and cry," The Bachelorette's Season 17 star admitted.

"Now, I just look away, close my eyes and do some deep breathing... They didn't turn me into a human pin-cushion. I'll be getting home soon and then checking the results. Checking with my oncologist and seeing what our next steps are."
Katie wrote in the caption of her post, "Recently, my liver MRI continued to show no evidence of disease! TBD on my breasts."
"Those scans happen next month so fingers crossed! In the meantime, I had to pause my medication until my liver enzymes return to normal. #breastcancer #f-ck cancer," she concluded.
Katie was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2025.
"I had a small lump in my breast... I discovered it myself," Katie wrote via Instagram Stories at the time.

"[I] thought maybe it was my period [or] maybe it was muscle soreness from working out. But, eventually, this lump never went away."

Katie then revealed her cancer had spread to her liver one month later in March.

Katie said she and Jeff will have a bigger wedding, complete with personalized vows, after she beats cancer.

"It was this kind gesture of him saying, truly, in sickness and in health," Katie gushed to Us Weekly last year.
"He is proving that he's here to stay. He shows up every day and he does it in ways that just continue to surprise."
Katie has endured many ups and downs during her cancer battle.
Last summer, The Bachelor alum shared how she felt like she was losing her memory and hair while undergoing treatment.
"I just finished my second month of treatment, and if you're asking how long treatment is -- technically forever," Katie said in a candid video.
"I am optimistic about medical advancements in the future. Fingers crossed as a stage 4 girly. But right now, after finishing two months of my medication, my hair is coming out in an unnatural amount of clumps. I'm working on that."
Katie continued: "I'm losing my memory, that's great. Going through customs and them being like, 'Where are you coming from?' And I looked at him and I was like, 'I don't remember. I don't remember.'"

Katie, appearing a little upset and deflated, vented about how "cancer is sh-t."
"Sometimes I'm like, 'Stop feeling bad for yourself,'" she noted. "But then other times, I'm like, 'No, you're allowed to feel bad for yourself. Cancer f-cking sucks.'"
Katie found fame when she competed on Matt James' The Bachelor season.

She then starred on The Bachelorette's seventeenth season and got engaged to wildlife conservationist Blake Moynes.
Katie's The Bachelorette season ended on ABC in August 2021, and then she and Blake announced their breakup only a couple of months later in October 2021.
Katie then went public with her romance with John Hersey, whom she had eliminated during Week 2 of her The Bachelorette journey, in November 2021. She was accused of moving on from Blake quickly with "a rebound" and emotionally cheating on her ex-fiance.
Katie and John split after less than one year together in June 2022, and Katie expressed on numerous occasions how John had dumped her after she allegedly gave the relationship everything she had.
After ending her relationship with John, Katie made a cameo on Bachelor in Paradise's ninth season in 2023 and found closure with Blake, who remained her friend post-show.

Katie had announced at the time: "Safe to say he's making it to hometowns next week," which was a nod to her prior The Bachelorette stint in 2021.
