"I had an amazing first night," Peter told People in a recent interview.

"I was for sure pleasantly surprised by how many women I definitely felt an initial spark with and chemistry with right off the bat."

Peter will be introduced to 30 bachelorettes when The Bachelor's 24th season premieres with a special three-hour event on Monday, January 6 at 8PM ET/PT on ABC.

"You can't fake chemistry," the airline pilot told the magazine, adding, "There were for sure a couple [women] that I felt really strongly for."

Peter also shared there were "a lot of great" limo entrances from the new cast.

"It's always just a fun night to kind of show your personality off," Peter said.

Although Night 1 probably started off with a lot of fun and light-hearted jokes, Peter had to narrow down the group of 30 women to only 22 bachelorettes at the first Rose Ceremony of the season.

And his decisions naturally became more difficult as the season progressed and connections became stronger.

"I don't think I truly understood how difficult it would be to date that many women," Peter admitted.

"But I wear my heart on my sleeve, and I'm never going to change."

Peter's lineup of bachelorettes includes several beauty queens and models, a few flight attendants, a pro sports dancer, a cattle rancher, a house flipper, and a lawyer.

"What does a hard-charging career woman from a family of elite lawyers, a delightfully quirky bombshell full of self-doubt, a beauty who can be a real beast, a gorgeous girl next door who is a hoopster at heart and a sophisticated city girl who speaks her mind all have in common?" ABC teased when recently announcing the cast.

"They're all on the hunt for love with Peter Weber."

Peter's journey to find love will kick off in the usual Malibu mansion and then continue internationally with stops in Costa Rica, Chile, Peru and beyond, where relationships will grow and surprises await the unsuspecting Bachelor.

Filming for The Bachelor's 24th season began in September and wrapped in November.

When Peter finally returned home from taping, he teased on social media he had the "most insane journey ever," and The Bachelor host Chris Harrison agreed it was "a wild ride."

Despite the usual and expected ups and downs, Peter told People, "Where I am now, I couldn't be happier."
