The Bachelor host Chris Harrison will apparently be ringing in the new year by officiating the weddings of three lucky couples atop the Farmers Insurance "Love Float" during the 2014 Rose Parade on New Year's Day.

The three chosen couples will have won Farmers Insurance's currently-active "Picture Perfect Weddings Contest," a national search to find three "passionate" couples who hope to ring in the New Year by marrying one another atop a float in the presence of Harrison.

"What better way to start off the new year than with wedding bells," Harrison said in a statement. "Over the years, I've witnessed many couples find true love, and I am thrilled to help the winners of the 'Picture Perfect Weddings Contest' start their lives together as I preside over their weddings with Farmers Insurance at the Rose Parade."

Up until October 28, eligible couples can enter the contest on the Farmers Insurance Facebook Page by submitting a photo of themselves and sharing their love story, explaining why they deserve to tie the knot during the upcoming parade in Pasadena, CA. One of the three couples will be crowned the grand prize winner after they participate in a series of wedding and life-planning challenges and vie for America's votes.

Added Farmers Insurance executive Michael A. Linton, "At Farmers Insurance, our agents help customers make smart insurance decisions at important moments, which is why we are excited to announce the 'Picture Perfect Weddings Contest.' We are searching for couples to create memories of their lives together starting on the Farmers 'Love Float' at the 2014 Rose Parade."

Consumers will be able to cast their vote for their favorite couple on Facebook from November 19 through December 29. They will also be able to lend their own wedding photos and marriage advice.

The three selected couples will win the following: A trip to Pasadena, CA for themselves and up to two guests, exchanging "I do's" on the float, a wedding Alfred Angelo dress for the bride and a tuxedo from Friar Tux for the groom, his and hers wedding rings, hair and make-up for the bride on her big day, a cash prize, two tickets to the 2014 Rose Bowl Game, a five-night honeymoon in the Cook Islands with round trip airfare from Los Angeles on Air New Zealand, and a one-year supply of flowers from PassionRoses.
