The Bachelor couple Lauren Bushnell and Ben Higgins are happily engaged and can't wait to get married, so what do they have to say about their future nuptials?

The day after The Bachelor's finale aired, the couple participated in a conference call and reporters packed on questions about their wedding.

Ben previously told Chris Harrison he'd love to get married "tomorrow" if he could because he's so in love with his fiancee, but when presented with the opportunity of a live TV wedding on After the Final Rose, both Lauren and Ben turned it down.

Below is what the future Mr. and Mrs. Higgins revealed about their wedding plans.

Would you ever consider a live wedding on TV like Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici before you?

Lauren Bushnell: I think, you know, we haven't ruled anything out. And all of the support from everyone has been so amazing that it would be something that both of us would consider I think moving forward, depending on what opportunities come, to share our life with everyone around us who's been supportive -- and that includes Bachelor Nation.

So, it's not ruled out but also, you know, we don't know what opportunities are going to present themselves. All we know is we want to get married! We want a wedding and we want our family and friends there. So, how that comes about, I'm not exactly sure, but we're excited.

Lauren, any chance you'd want to get married in your hometown of Portland, Oregon?

Lauren Bushnell: I mean, I think there's always a chance. We haven't discussed places let alone the date, but yeah! My parents are in Portland, I was born and raised there. I don't think that Ben or myself would rule anything out at this point, and Portland has some of the best summers, so I don't know. You never know; It's a possibility.

When Chris Harrison threw out the idea of a live wedding on After the Final Rose, what was going through your minds? Was there ever a moment you considered just doing it?

Lauren Bushnell: Oh my gosh. I was completely surprised. I did not expect that at all. You know, I first of all, want to go on a date with Ben. There's so many things I want to do with him before actually saying, "I do." I want to try on dresses, I want to do some of the more traditional things.

And so, for me, as much as I want to marry Ben tomorrow, I would also like a big celebration that's planned with my family and friends. So for me, I didn't really put too much thought into it although it was kind of tempting.

Ben Higgins: I mean, as we had talked about, I knew that it wasn't something -- we weren't against getting married, but we also want to have our friends and family there to support us and celebrate with us. So, it just wasn't an option, but it was a good try!

Looking ahead to the wedding, are there things you know you'd definitely want? Maybe a specific kind of wedding cake or a photo booth? Something fun you'd love to have on your big day?

Lauren Bushnell: Oh goodness. You know what? I am not -- I have never been one who's dreamt about every little detail of my wedding. I haven't. It's just, I don't know, I think I started thinking about it after finding Ben and getting engaged, but it's not something I've thought about -- colors or anything like that.

I honestly don't even know where I'd want to get married. (Laughs) So, all I know is that I want it to be a celebration with family and friends there. And that's about it! Other than that, I think since we're finally public and that's kind of off our shoulders, I feel like I can really start focusing more on what I want and what Ben wants when it comes to our wedding.

You said you'd like a quick engagement, Lauren. So do you at least have a season in mind for your wedding? Like maybe a summer wedding?

Lauren Bushnell: I don't know! I always thought I wanted a summer wedding, but a fall wedding sounds beautiful. And then I was thinking how fun it would be to do a winter wedding, how romantic that sounds! So, I'm all over the place. (laughs) I don't know!

When you guys were alone on your secret dates after filming wrapped, did you talk about wedding stuff at all or no?

Lauren Bushnell: No, we definitely talked about it, more so about how excited we are to marry each other. But we never really talked about the details. I think we both know we want to get married and we want to get married soon, so that wasn't ever a topic that needed a lot of discussion.

It was just more so, I think we both just wanted to get to today so we can finally talk about just our relationship in general, and then the details of that wedding can kind of come after. But we were really just focused on how excited we were to get to today and get to start our life together.
