The Bachelor star Ben Higgins' entire perspective on Becca Tilley changed after their one-on-one date in Las Vegas.

"From the day she walked into the mansion, I knew there was something special about Becca. I know Chris Soules felt it, too, and when you are in the same room with Becca it is undeniable. She has such a fun energy about her and I knew that she would be perfect for this date," Higgins wrote in his People blog.

For their date, which aired during Monday night's episode, Higgins officiated a couple of weddings in Vegas with Tilley at his side. The couple watched individuals in love exchange their vows and tie the knot, which was a special experience for both of them.

"I knew because of the faith we both share that it would be meaningful to her," Higgins said.

"Having Becca by my side for it was really a calming influence. Even more so than the singing Elvis minister that came in later on and gave me some pointers on my marrying skills. Becca and I married a bunch of really excited couples that day, and it really is something that I will remember forever."

Higgins then gave Tilley a tour through the Neon Museum, which is basically like a junkyard of signs except they're being fixed and refurbished for later use.

"The Neon Museum really is one of the coolest places I have ever seen and I was excited to talk to Becca more there. I had a lot of questions about her past experience and why she went so far without really being ready to get engaged," Higgins explained.

Tilley first competed on The Bachelor's nineteenth season. Soules brought her all the way to the Final 2 and considered proposing to her, yet Tilley couldn't commit in any way. Tilley could barely express her love for him, and she never agreed to move to Iowa, where Soules ran a farm. Tilley's lack of confidence in their future together appeared to be the reason why Soules picked Whitney Bischoff in the end.

"I respect her for going with her heart and not going into something as serious as marriage if she truly wasn't ready for it. But I would be lying if I said there wasn't a fear of her doing the same thing to me," Higgins said.

"And I knew I was going to be holding myself back from fully opening up and allowing myself to fall for her until I knew what was behind that experience that she'd had with Chris."

Because Tilley is a virgin and Higgins is not, the Bachelor asked if that bothered her. Tilley assured Higgins she had no problem with his choice because abstaining from sex was just a personal decision she made as a way to eventually give herself to one special man.

"I also have a tremendous amount of respect for her for tackling a subject as sometimes awkward as sex and religion with such ease and sincerity," Higgins noted. "After this date, I could tell that Becca was someone I could really see something with. And I really wasn't sure if that was the case when I went it to it."
