The Bachelor alum Joey Graziadei has shared an update on wedding planning and revealed what he has in mind for his vows to Kelsey Anderson.

Joey and Kelsey, who got engaged on The Bachelor's 28th season, are currently planning to tie the knot in Louisiana in Spring 2027, and Joey apparently can't wait to become a married man.

"Wedding planning is going great! It has been going on pretty much most of this year. There's so many things that go into planning a wedding; I'm finding that out, firsthand," Joey shared during a recent appearance on Extra's "Extra Confessional."
Joey also insisted that he's been taking an active role in the planning process rather than leaving all of the decisions up to his future wife.

"I am very involved. I want to know what's going on. It is both of our days, and it is going to be mostly about Kelsey because why wouldn't it be? But I want to know what my party's going to be like. I want to know who's going to be there," Joey explained.
Joey admitted he's actually surprised himself with how invested he's become in planning the wedding.
"I've been honestly more involved than I thought I was going to be just because I'm really caring about how we're going to celebrate with all of our friends and family. But I can't wait. It's going to be here soon," Joey said.
Joey said hammering out the details of his wedding has been "fun" so far and thinks the couple's wedding venue is "incredible."
"Kelsey wanted to fit what she had in her mind, and the place we got is literally exactly what she described. So I know it's going to fit her wedding dreams, and that's what I wanted most," Joey noted.

"So I'm very, very excited about our venue, and I can't wait for everybody to see it."

And when it comes to exchanging vows with Kelsey, Joey revealed that he's already given a lot of thought to what he'd like to say to his bride on their wedding day.
"Of course I've thought about this. I thought about my vows from the moment that I got engaged to Kelsey," Joey shared.
Joey, in fact, revealed that he plans to draw inspiration from the speech he had given Kelsey when he proposed marriage to her at the Final Rose Ceremony of The Bachelor's 2024 season.

"Because, as you do on The Bachelor, you get engaged in a very theatric way," Joey explained.
"You have to get down on one knee and have this great speech, and when I did it, it was one of the easiest things I ever had to write. I had so much I wanted to say to her in such a short time, so immediately I realized that once I got to the point, I was like, 'Oh, I'm going to be able to do this again once I write my wedding vows someday.'"
Joey therefore already has some ideas for what he'd like to say to Kelsey when they finally become husband and wife.
"So, I'm already going to pull things from that speech that I gave when I got engaged. But I think about Kelsey all the time; of course I think about the vows," Joey concluded.
Kelsey and Joey's wedding planning was briefly put on hold while Joey was filming The Traitors' upcoming fifth season in Scotland and had no phone access.

(While some media outlets report that the next celebrity version of Peacock's The Traitors is Season 6, The Traitors: New Blood is considered a separate series, given it airs on NBC.)
But Kelsey previously shared that the delay wouldn't cause a problem because some of the smaller wedding details won't need to be finalized until closer to their big day.
"A lot of the nitty-gritty things come closer [to the date], where we're tasting the food and all of that. But it's been really exciting," Kelsey gushed.
Kelsey also joked that despite being the bride, Joey was actually "the bridezilla" since he's "very definitive."
Joey won Dancing with the Stars' 33rd season with pro partner Jenna Johnson in 2024 after starring on The Bachelor's 28th season earlier that year.
Joey proposed marriage to Kelsey during The Bachelor's Season 28 finale after choosing her over runner-up Daisy Kent.
Joey will compete on The Traitors next season alongside a cast that includes Kristin Chenoweth, Whitney Leavitt, Craig Conover, Bronwyn Newport and Cody Simpson.
The Traitors is scheduled to return to Peacock in early 2027.
ABC announced in April that The Bachelor's 30th season and Bachelor in Paradise's eleventh season will also both return in 2027.
