Teen Mom star Amber Portwood and her on-again, off-again fiance Gary Shirley are apparently off again.

The couple has officially split, according to Portwood's father Shawn Portwood.

"They don't belong together; They just don't mix. There's not enough there -- They separated and she's moving on," Shawn Portwood told RadarOnline Tuesday.

In addition, Shawn said that Amber is not the only one to blame for the violent argument in which Teen Mom's cameras captured her kicking and punching Shirley, resulting in a police investigation that is still ongoing.

"There was a lot behind the scenes that wasn't shown [on Teen Mom] that would explain how she got to that point," Shawn explained. "They didn't show what he did to instigate that -- All you have to do is watch the show and see what he says. 'I'm taking the kid... I'm taking her forever.'

Shawn said he's convinced that Shirley has used the couple's only child, Leah Portwood, to manipulate Amber and get what he wants.

"He's a mind game; he thinks he can play mind games -- He holds that baby over her head," Shawn noted.

MTV is continuing to film the couple for the upcoming third season of Teen Mom, however the young parents will likely now be filmed separately, according to Shawn.

Amber is reportedly pregnant again, but whether Shirley is the father is unknown.

Meanwhile, Shirley appears to have already moved on as he was recently photographed dancing in the arms of another woman, RadarOnline reported.
